Funny thing is that the "source" from inside Goodison that the story about him not wanting to leave is me! I was speaking with a journalist from Coventry when I was covering a Willenhall Town game for my site and he asked me a few questions about it. I told him that Vic was most likely just there to see Jukebox play as he was his best friend and that after extablishing himself in the team I couldnt see any logical reason why he would leave. This journo ran the story online but re-jigged what I said and made it sound like I was an inside source from Goodison and had spoken with the player and his agent! Ha. Now a Liverpool paper has run with it as well, all started from a slightly pissed conversation at a non-league game in the West Midlands!

Me either. This will be a huge season for so many people and to have him coming back into the squad will be fantastic. I think that knowing his character he'll be even more hungry after missing out on the World Cup.

For £4m he'd be a steal. The age doesn't concern me too much, you'd just accept that your not going to get anything back from his transfer but that's not such a biggie. The only concern would be the injuries, as i mentioned earlier, he has problems with his knees and though he was lucky last year with staying fit you just can't guarentee that he's going to be available all the time. But for £4m i'd take him in a heart beat. He's a natural winner and we need more of those.

Can't see Ireland being a replacemet for Cahill. In Rodwell or Bily we have better options to take his mantel. I think Ireland could turn out to be a one season wonder and not show much beyond there. I think when he does move that Villa would be a good move for him, he'd get the games in the right position there and their style of play is conducive to his own style. if he had a better attitude I wouldn't mind him here, I just cant see how that will change though.

It would all depend on which Bellamy arrives. The one who stays fit and runs himself into the ground for this team, (City/ Blackburn) or the troublesome and injury prone one (West Ham/ Liverpool)

Mark Hughes set to be unveiled as the new Fulham boss. Good move for both involved though don't envy anyone having to take over from Hodgson after his last season their. I'd expect to see Bellamy moved for and possibly even Santa Cruz. He loves them two he does. I understand Bellamy but Santa Cruz is a terrible player!

So who's making the long jaunt down to Norwich? I've just booked my ticket as I was getting itchy feat and couldn't wait much longer to us play!

Bellamy is one of those players that you hate unless he plays for you. My attitude towards him changed a hell of alot when I found about all the charity work he does. As for Ireland, talented player but if we bought him we'd end up playing him on the wing and he can't play their, he'd be wasted out wide just like Ossie is. We don't need him. In my opinion Ireland has much much much more attitude problems than Bellamy does. I spoke with a friend who works in a football agency and he said that Bellamy wants out and is willing to take a massive pay cut to keep on playing, Ireland on the other hand would prefer to sit on the bench at City as he knows nobody will match his wages and he isn't willing to currently take a pay cut. Plus lying about the death of your own grandmother is just bang out of order
