  1. Just to clarify something about our TV rights for Europa Cup. This is at least correct for the entire group stage. All home games will be shown on 5ive All away games will be shown on ESPN The ESPN deal isn't actually bad at all. £9 a month, Europa Leage, Premier League, Eredivise, French League, German League and Italian League. Coverage is pretty poor at the moment but you get alot for your money.
  2. He, like Heitinga, is ineligable. I beleive we can re-register players in January.
  3. Fully agree. I'm worried but looking forward to this. This is what it's all about. We have started well in the group so far and a loss is not the worse thing in the world tomorrow, especially considering the depleted squad we are taking over. Unlike alot of Liverpool fans I know though I wont blame a "injury crisis". Pah, Injury crisis is that rafa? Do me a favour, come to our physio room and you'll see a real injury crisis. COYB!!! Also, I would give captaincy to Cahill for this game.
  4. I would plump for this team --------Howard------------ Coleman Hibbert Distin Baines Gosling Rodwell Fellaini Bily ------Cahill--------------- ------------Saha----------- Basically I think we're fucked. They look very good in attack when I have seen them play, in particular there young Brazillian Ramires. If we can get a point from there then we will have done amazingly.
  5. The team was:- Howard Gosling Yobo Distin Baines ----------Rodwell--------- Pienaar--- Felli ---Bily -------Cahill--------- -----------Jo----------- Subs Used:- Yak on for Jo, Ossie on for Cahill and Saha on for Pienaar. Though for Fifa 10 I find the best formation (for me any way) is as follows ----------Howard----------- Heitinga Jags Distin Baines -----Rodwell---Felli------- Arteta----------------Bily --------Cahill------------ ---------------Saha-------
  6. Parachutes is one of my favourite hang-over albums. Very soothing.
  7. Some suggestions that Yobo could miss out tomorrow. That would seriously take the biscuit.
  8. Me too actually. Boro- 4th in League after being stripped off assets and investing little. Strong promotion candidates. 1 point from top of league. Ipswich- Relegation candidates, no win this year, invested heavily. Bottom of league.
  9. It's amazing to think how far we've come since then, look at the team from that day! Everton: Simonsen, Watson, Weir, Stubbs, Pistone, Alexandersson, Gemmill, Unsworth, Blomqvist (Chadwick 70), Ferguson (sent off 20), Radzinski (Linderoth 89). Subs Not Used: Gerrard, Cleland, Ginola.
  10. Most probably true. It's a shame really as he seems a nice enough bloke and always comes accross well in interviews, an honest manager. Unfortunatly he seems to have little tactical awareness and I can't see him gaining it, still though he is ten times the manager that Roy Keane is.
  11. Play nice here everyone. Remember, things could be much worse, we could be Liverpool fans!
  12. I would never cheer for the injury of our own player, but possibly forcing Osman away from the first team could be best for both parties. Also Mark, saw on your tunes list in your sig that you've been listening to The Wutars! Good lad. I'm actually shooting a documentary with them at the moment. They have just uploaded there new EP onto Spotify as well if you want to listen to some newer stuff.
  13. Odd one this. They have been in a bad patch but won last night, still sit 4th in the league, he's forced to sell all his best players and is only given very very little to re-invest. Poor sod, don't seem right at this current time. Someone like Strachan will probably come in.
  14. No idea if this is true or not but rumours going around that Ossie has been injured in trainin and could be out for awhile. No idea if this is true but it could just be wishful thinking on someone's behalf
  15. 4 loses on the trot. First time for 22 years and with United coming on sunday, not a fun time for the kopites.
  16. http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/blues-launch-maddie-awareness-candaign.html?utm_source=rss_everton&utm_medium=rss_feed&utm_term=Blues+Launch+Madeleine+Awareness+Campaign It's good to see the club doing something, as they have also done for the Rhys campaign. I feel good that the club still wants to connect with its community.
  17. Games will bring invaluable experience so a good loan move could be very benefitial for him
  18. If he's good enough then he'll get his chance, and there certainy seems to be alot of positive things being said about him. His only problem is the amount of players we currently have in that position. However given his young age and the older age of some of our other defenders I am sure that if he sticks around here and keeps progressing then he will be given his chance, Moyes seems to be one of the better managers in the league for younger players.
  19. Awesome. Loved him here when he was with us. If his son's ever made it people will love them on name alone!
  20. Neill needs to wait for his chance. He is only just returning to fitness now, he's not stupid and he knows that he wont walk straight into the team, and he will have known that when he signed. With 3 away games coming up within 7 days and with more and more fixtures ramp up he will get his chance. He needs to be pacient and so does EvertonToffees. It will be better for him to come in when he is fully ready rather than pushing him in early and see him give a poor acount of himself. If he's good enough then he'll get games.
  21. Liverpool fan's dont have a leg to stand on about complaints regarding this. It was Liverpool fans that have thrown the ball on the pitch in the first place. Sure this got in the way of play but it was the Liverpool fans fault, they could have prevented a goal with that ball. Tools. Starting their own down fall, beautiful. Anyone else heard that Man City are considering a £40m bid for the beach ball?
