Although Iwobi also put in a top performance, I've gone for Delph who I thought just edged it.

Holgate looks to be showing the right attitude, and that can only be admired. Let's hope he keeps progressing.

Per the press conference, looks like season over (maybe for Arsenal).
Thanks for that. I didn't see the press conference.

Couldn't fault Keane when he came on against Leicester, the lad played a decent game.
-
Can't believe there are people debating whether or not Pickford should be Englands 1st choice keeper.
-
Credit where it's due, Delph has done the business for us recently. If he could stay fit, it would be worth giving him a 12 month contract and using him as a squad player.
-
Thing with Mina going off injured in the Leicester game is you can never tell what you're going to get. He may be back for us against Watford, or his season could just as easily be over.

Watford 1-1 Everton

It's all set-up for us now, we really need to take advantage and do the business today.

Decent interview, cheers for posting

How long does DCL have left on his contract?

Everything's in place for us to leapfrog out of the bottom 3 later today. Come on Everton.
-
So is that it now for Moise Kean as far as Everton are concerned?

It was a very clever piece of business which made a lot of people suspicious I think
Looking at it, it did make me think "what's really going on here"

Rumour has it that he needs to play 10 games before first payment is made.
Cheers Matt. Just had a quick look on wiki (should've done that first) and it says that he was free with the potential of the fee becoming £40m with performance bonuses etc. being met, £10m of which is to be paid after 20 appearances. To be honest, I initially thought we'd brought him in on a loan, but he's on a 2½ year deal.

Not a fan of Crooks, but still nice to see two of our players in there.

What was the 'transfer' situation with Dele Alli? I was told he came to us on a 'free', but surely that can't be right.

If they demonstrated such strong character on the pitch then fans wouldn’t be critical of them.
Well, hopefully Tom Davies will be able to do just that under Frank Lampard. As for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, his last couple of seasons were decent enough, but things have gone a bit off for him this term.
-
I absolutely love Anthony Gordons' direct and pacy style of play, just hope he can start adding more goals to his game.
-
I like the fact the Tom Davies (and Dominic Calvert-Lewin) is confident enough to express himself and dress the way he does. I'm just hoping that Frank Lampard can work some of the magic he used on Iwobi and help Davies improve his game also, which is the more important issue.

Jordan Pickford for me. Thought he commanded his area well and made some outstanding vital saves.

I’ve just had a look at a Burnley forum, they had a thread on our game yesterday!
it’s funny to see how we all view games differently, have a look for yourselves.https://www.uptheclarets.com/messageboard/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=61749
That made for some brilliant reading

When you see a player work his absolute bollocks off for us, I fail to see how you could dislike them.
I hated Lukaku purely for his laziness and entitlement even though he scored goals. Richarlison leaves everything out there.
He told me he found Richarlison to be an embarrassment going to ground too easily and acting melodramatic and childish. The point is though, how can you dislike a player so much to not want them to score for the team you support? No matter what I think of a player I'm still 'made up' if they score for us. I just thought it a bizarre attitude to have towards someone.

Talking to a mate yesterday who told me that he obviously loves it when Everton win, but can't stand it when Richarlison scores because he dislikes him so much. He said he would rather someone else scored for us

I would hope that his latest injury in no more than a niggle and he'll be fine for the Brentford match, but injuries are never that straightforward with Delph. Anyhow, fingers crossed.
