  1. It was just a couple years ago and yeah we were. He was later interviewed and said he felt like he was more wanted by Forest. Having Cooper be his manager for the England U17s probably helped Forest get him too.
  2. Do they have camp sites in Portugal they could use for a day? I mean, with the Merseyside derby ahead on Wednesday can't have him away for too long.
  3. Didn't notice this until they just showed a clip of him at halftime on NBC. Quite the change for him since he's normally a suit and tie guy. Don't mind the change to a track suit to be honest.
  4. Were Nuno's sides at Wolves like this too?
  5. Even Beglin was saying on commentary, that he shot it at a shit angle and it still went in.
  6. If we don't score til then, less time for our guys to employ Dyche's park the bus strategy on defense.
  7. Forest have won one of their last eight PL matches against us. Their last victory was a 0:1 victory at Goodison on January 30, 1999.
  8. Sheffield United could be relegated as early as Wednesday if the following happen: -We lose to Forest tomorrow -Sheffield United lose at Manchester United on Wednesday -We defeat the Shite on Wednesday
  9. As disappointed as we were, and rightfully so, with our performance at Chelsea on Monday, at least it wasn't like what we're seeing from Luton right now at home, currently 0:5 down.
  10. Bayer Leverkusen draws 1:1 at West Ham today, advancing on aggregate 3:1. They'll play AS Roma in the Europa League semifinals with the first leg in Rome on May 2. The other Europa League semifinal is Marseille vs. Atalanta.
  11. This would be a great idea, except for the fact that his daughter-in-law is now co-chair of the RNC.
  12. So if Cole Palmer wins the PL golden boot, he'll send a thank you card to Goodison, no?
  13. Only one of the remaining 5 are against teams in the bottom half of the table in the Bundesliga. They have to travel to Borussia Dortmund next weekend. They drew at home with them back in early December.
  14. Based on a quick google search I just did, it looks you have to go all the way to Preston North End in 1888-89. Won the Football League and the FA Cup that season but there wasn't European football for them to participate in at that point. It looks like Bayer Leverkusen could become the first to do both (undefeated in League and Europe). Leverkusen are away to West Ham in the Europa League quarterfinals on Thursday. They also still have the German Cup final against second division Kaiserslautern at the end of May.
  15. It looks like the closest since that Arsenal squad was the 2011-12 Juventus squad but they lost in the Coppa Italia final to Napoli that season.
  16. Shite losing at home to Palace may end up dashing their PL title chances.
  17. In the Championship, it's a 3 team race for the two automatic promotion spots. Leicester City and Ipswich Town are tied atop the table with 88 points and Leeds United has 87 points. Leicester has a match in hand on the other two sides. Ipswich Town last played in the Premier League in the 2001-02 season and this would be their 2nd straight season gaining promotion, following a move up from League One via an automatic promotion spot after last season. 4th through 6th are currently occupied by Southampton (78 points), West Bromwich Albion (72 points), and Norwich City (68 points). The next closest sides are Coventry City and Preston North End at 63 points with both having a match in hand on Norwich. As far as relegation from the Championship to League One, Rotherham United has already clinched relegation with only 23 points. Above them, there are 6 clubs within 4 points of each other. Blackburn Rovers (46 points), Stoke City (46 points), Plymouth Argyle (45 points), and Huddersfield Town (43 points; -23 GD) are all above the relegation zone. Sheffield Wednesday (43 points; -31 GD) and Birmingham City (42 points) are currently in the relegation spots.
  18. The decision by the Arizona Supreme Court to uphold an abortion law from the Civil War era (48 years before Arizona was even a state) will be a key issue. Based on how things have gone in similar states when abortion has been an issue on the ballot, it could be huge for Biden as Arizona was considered one of the swing states this year with its 11 electoral votes.
  19. So essentially like the Palace match at Goodison a couple seasons ago. Will we have fans storming the pitch afterwards again?
  20. I know this is something that's been discussed on here but it's still worth looking at. Here's how things look towards the bottom of the table: 14. Crystal Palace 30 15. Brentford 29 16. Everton 27 17. Nottingham Forest 25 18. Luton Town 25 19. Burnley 19 20. Sheffield United 16 And here's who each of those teams have left: -Palace: Shite away, West Ham and Newcastle at home, Fulham away, Manchester United at home, Wolves away, Villa at home -Brentford: Sheffield United at home, Luton Town and Everton away, Fulham at home, Bournemouth away, Newcastle at home -Everton: Chelsea away, Nottingham Forest, Shite, and Brentford at home, Luton Town away, Sheffield United at home, Arsenal away -Forest: Wolves at home, Everton away, Manchester City at home, Sheffield United away, home vs. Chelsea, Burnley away -Luton Town: Manchester City away, Brentford at home, Wolves away, Everton at home, West Ham away, Fulham at home -Burnley: Brighton & Hove Albion at home, Sheffield United and Manchester United away, Newcastle at home, Spurs away, Forest at home -Sheffield United: Brentford away, Burnley at home, Manchester United and Newcastle away, home vs. Forest, Everton away, home vs. Spurs So who ends up being the 3 getting relegated among that group? I know that Palace does have a bit of a cushion but they've struggled for points recently and I know someone else on here mentioned that roughly half their points have come against the bottom 3 sides. I'd argue that Palace's remaining schedule does them no favors.
  21. Considering their recent run of form and how Toney and Collins were arguing after the match, I'd definitely say Brentford is coming apart at the seams (if they weren't already). Palace's remaining schedule is tough but I'd think they'd have enough of a cushion to avoid relegation. They're at 30 points right now. 35 would have been enough last season to avoid relegation (We had 36; Leicester had 34). You'd have to think they could at least squeeze 6 or 7 points out of what they have remaining.
