  1. Can't get much more of a "This is such an MLS" type goal (even accounting for the wind): https://twitter.com/MLS/status/1769096641473064975
  2. And it would have gotten done but if Trump can't run on immigration, he loses one of the biggest things he can criticize Biden on.
  3. You should also read about her husband too. He's a state house rep here (though luckily not mine) and is just about as bad as her. In particular, his "excuse" for having a Three-Percenters decal on his truck was unbelievable.
  4. It stinks that you're stuck in a ruby red district like that. Here in Illinois, I have to deal with Mary Miller as my U.S. house rep and it's not much better as my district is a similar ruby red district. Some of her views on topics are quite something. Had it not been for what happened on January 6, the comments she made the day before would have gotten a lot more publicity around the nation.
  5. Title race is going to be fun down the stretch after today's 1:1 draw at Anfield between the shite and Manchester City. Top 3 of Arsenal, shite, and Manchester City are separated by just one point. Arsenal and shite at 64 points with Arsenal ahead on goal difference. Manchester City at 63 points. Arsenal travels to the Etihad to take on Manchester City on March 31.
  6. They brought up an interesting stat during today's match between the shite and Man City. The away side has only won 6 of the 53 matches (11%) played between these two in the PL. The lowest percentage for an away side to win of any PL fixture that has been played 40+ times.
  7. Gonna be a LONG three weeks before that next PL match at the Vitality Stadium.
  8. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but I don't recall us having this many shots in a match recently. I know there haven't been many on goal but I can't remember when we've at least had some sort of threat to the opposing keeper in our most recent play.
  9. Quality comment from Jon Champion a couple moments ago. When his commentary partner today, Matt Holland, mentioned how ten Hag thinks that Man U is charting the right course, Champion said "I'm pretty sure the captain of the Titanic thought he was charting the right course too".
  10. If I had to guess, I'd assume it's because our regular away kit would clash too much with Man U's home kit.
  11. Currently at 9. Last win was at Burnley 0:2 on December 16. Last home win was December 10 vs. Chelsea 2:0. Romey's earlier post mentioned that we went 12 straight matches without a win to start the 1994-95 campaign. Looking online, it looks like Mike Walker was the manager at that time. He would be sacked about a week after we got our first win that season.
  12. Cherry on top of this awful result.
  13. Opposing side scores after we score. Seems about right for this season.
  14. Honestly with the teams I support, I pretty much have to take the viewpoint with how anxious they make me most of the time.
  15. Only bright spot is that none of the clubs around us in the table that are playing right now are currently winning so we shouldn't lose our spot in the table. If we can somehow win this one and other results go our way, we could move up to 13th in the table.
  16. Now we get a penalty. Time for DCL to take it. Oh wait...
  17. This is what Luton has left: Villa (H) Palace (A) Bournemouth (A) (Rescheduled match from when Lockyer collapsed; Match will be replayed in full) Forest (H) Spurs (A) Arsenal (A) Bournemouth (H) Manchester City (A) Brentford (H) Wolves (A) Everton (H) West Ham (A) Fulham (H)
  18. In regards to the point reduction, it's the best they could have hoped for, all things considered. Would have liked to see it reduced it even further but it is what it is. Now the concern goes to what they'll find in the 2nd PSR case against us and Forest.
  19. Shite defeat Chelsea in extra time 1:0 in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley. Van Dijk scored the goal in the 2nd portion of extra time. He had scored a goal in the 2nd half of regular time that was disallowed on VAR review when Endo was ruled offside. On the replay, Endo was also blocking the Chelsea defender that was supposed to be marking Van Dijk. Was listening to Jon Champion and Stewart Robson on commentary here in the states. Robson mentioned that he thought that for matches like this that they should go straight to PKs if the match is tied after 90 minutes. His argument was that he'd seen plenty of matches where not much of note would happen in the extra 30 minutes of extra time so they'd be better off going straight through to the penalty kicks.
  20. We only get it on streaming here in the states through ESPN+. I have ESPN+ anyway as my college alma mater has their stuff streaming through though I only mainly watch them during American football season in the fall.
