  1. I always knew gas prices were more expensive there but didn't know by that much. It almost seems doubled. You are right about cars being far more used here. Thats the only real thing people use to get around this big country, if they aren't flying. The public transportation here isn't very good at all, which is a shame.
  2. They need to make their way to California.
  3. NY to SF would be a great drive. I have never been to the east coast so maybe one day I will get a chance to do it. Spent probably a good $150 in fuel but atleast I didnt have to pay for a hotel. Thats funny it was your first time driving automatic Mike. I cant drive anything other than automatic . It was a good drive and I get to make it again in September when I go back to school.
  4. Drove back from university today. 15 hour drive and did it all in a day. That is the most driving I did at once and it was very tiring.
  5. Once I finish my essay today I will be done with school for the summer. It will be a nice feeling.
  6. It would be nice if he wanted to buy Everton.
  7. ^^^ I definitely agree with the midfield. For us to do well in Europe our midfield is going to be the key. We already have a great core to work with we just need to add on. Hopefully we will be able to get a central midfielder and a winger this summer. Both would be very much needed for Europe.
  8. US vs El Salvador in the Gold Cup. Howard is in goal and has yet had much to do. I would have liked to see both Justin Mapp and Frankie Simek playing but they arent tonight.
  9. ^^^ Would never happen. The only one I can see with us next year is Fernandes on a year long loan. Hopefully I am wrong.
  10. 8 million is a lot for us to pay. He better be amazing if we make a bid.
  11. Not a big fan of the lettering. Hopefully I will grow into liking it.
  12. I'd be really interested to watch this tournament but I doubt it will be on tv. Hopefully everything goes well with Cahill playing.
  13. I really hope the Gamst thing is true. I'd easily pay 7 million in a second. He is the type of player we need.
  14. I actually spend a lot of time in Canada since my girlfriend is Canadian. The scene is good but small. The sport is covered a lot more in Canada than the U.S, in terms of on tv and in the papers. This is the first year a Canadian city got a MLS team and the support is going great. If im not mistaken I believe it is the most popular sport played by kids growing up. For the size and location of the country they are producing some good players. The sport will continue to grow and I think it is a great we are looking there. Who knows maybe there will be another Owen Hargreaves out there.
  15. I will be in Dublin for 5 weeks in July. I plan on visiting to see what it is like. Don't know anything about gaelic football or rugby though.
  16. The tattoo looks really good. One day I would like to get an Everton tattoo.
  17. I would love to have him but he would cost too much. Best free kick taker in the premiership in my opinion.
  18. 20 million is a lot for AJ. I wouldn't want to sell him but I can understand why Moyes would for that kind of money. I still don't think it will happen.
  19. I totally agree. A few weeks ago it seemed like we had a lot of options to explore with the likes of Barton, Nugent, Jagielka ect... The more time that goes by the less confident I am about this summer. I just want Moyes to bring in some quality players that will help improve the club, whoever they may be.
  20. Hell's Kitchen. Gordon Ramsay is always entertaining.
  21. I agree. He has more potential to be a world class player in my opinion.
  22. This is a random picture and I dont know if anyone has seen it or not but it looks cool
  23. Would like to see this. I've watched a few American Big Brothers and found them to be entertaining.
  24. Saw on toffeeweb that we are interested in a 3 million pound move for Frankie Simek. Although he is an American, I havent seen him play that much. I know he got voted Sheffield Wednesday's player of the year and he plays mostly right back. 3 million sounds like a lot but he is slowly starting to get some call ups for the national team.
