Back in the 90's we were calling for stability. Under Moyes we have achieved this BUT now it is time for EVERTON to push on and win trophies (or at least compete beyond the first couple of rounds). When I was growing up, Everton were always expected to have good cup runs (and quite often we did). David Moyes' cup record is abysmal. Why is this? For now though, MOYES is about as good as we can get (unless we get an injection of cash from someone). Some people think Hughes should be our next manager, but would he leave Blackburn???? The only other options would be Managers from the lower divsions such as David Jones, but would they be any better than MOYES? Probably not.

NUGENT would be a great asset to Everton. Did you see him v Southampton? Pressure of Sky cameras there and he won Man of the Match. His goal was excellent. He runs funny though, doesnt seem to lift his legs much and takes baby steps. Still maybe that confuses defenders? I'd say hes worth about 6mill.

I think (and hope) Reading and pompey will falter. That loss to Spurs is looking more and more costly. Spurs are on a roll and I feel will finish in a Euro spot. Its looking tough for Everton with the games we have left, I'm hoping 7th spot will open up coz I feel thats where we'll end up. Unless Bolton start to slide. I dont think Blackburn have it in them. SO I'm hoping for 6th but I fear 7th is where we'll end up. HOPE I'M WRONG. WHAT I HONESTLY THINK 5- BOLTON 6- SPURS 7- EVERTON 8- WHO CARES WHAT IS REALISTICALLY POSSIBLE 4- BOLTON 5- RS 6- EVERTON 7- SPURS 8- ?

The man has talent, god knows where hes been hiding it though. If you had any chance of staying up I'd say stay clear, but seeing as you'll be leaving this division soon he could prove to be a good keeper in the CC Championship.
