i dont actually think hibbo was that bad today, i know he has been in other games but today there was far worse. osman, neville, johnson, anichebe, jagielka for starters.

is that we give the ball away so easily. you look at other top half teams and you have to go and win the ball off them, but with us, you just have to wait for a mistake, you dont even have to tackle, just stand near hibbert/neville/osman etc and you are sure to get the ball. needs to be solved, and quickly, or we will be very low in the table and in no competitions by christmas.

come on we will never smash anyone anywhere. we might get a scrappy 1-0 or 2-1 win over them, but it is unlikely to be convincing.

the bit ive listened to sounds like hibbo and aj are playin ok but barry is completely controlling the midfield.

anichebe does have his uses, he is strong (if a bit rash), holds the ball up and ok in the air. as we saw against metalist, he gets fouled in the area a lot, think he won a couple of pens last season too. his main problem is his first touch is dreadful.

its ok, i liked the one we wore against villareal and bucharest better though.

oh yeah loads of spanish players just have their surnames (baraja, marchena, albelda, casillas, arteta, valeron, canizares, helguera). Arteta also just has a standard look, hope he actually looks like him on fifa 08.

agree with most of that, including the bit about osman, he has on and off days, but neville carsley and hibbert are shit week in week out, but still moyes plays them. we have better in those positions now. for a period last season it looked as though hibbert had been dropped. why has he returned to the first XI? i must disagree about yakubu though, i know his service wasnt brilliant to say the least but a good striker will really annoy the defenders all game, even without the ball. and all he did was stand there, he said he wanted to join everton because they were in europe, but i thought he looked awful lazy last night. and i would have liked to see vdm too, but i dont think he's ever gonna get another chance now. moyes had vidarsson and jutkiewicz on the bench, that shows how much of a chance vdm is gonna get.

okay i'm going to have a go at ratings, and i am REALLY pissed off so they arent gonna be kind. wessels - 6. didnt have many clear saves to make. hibbert - 1. fucking joke, doubt any other prem team would play him. yobo - 8. one of the few who impressed today, thought he looked solid. lescott - 4. besides the goal suprisingly shaky. baines - 8. the only other player who performed. osman - 5. ineffective. neville - 1. is he paying moyes to play him? how can moyes not see that he is complete shite? carsley - 1. did fuck all, let the metalist midfield walk all over him. mcfadden - 2. shit. we must have a different mcfadden than the one scotland get. yakubu - 1. lazy bastard, doubt he touched the ball more than 5 times, didnt look interested. johnson - 4. was having a good game til the pens. dont think i need to say more. subs: jagielka - 4. had little effect. anichebe - 5. won the pens but his first touch isnt good. some serious deals need to be done in january, the midfield is way too weak, we looked like a fucking joke.
