  1. I still think eating Red shite makes sense in the story Bill! lol
  2. Thought from front to back today we were very good, and really should've sewn up the win. Howard was so unlucky with the deflections again (how many this season?) Neville was awesome at the back. Great blocks and keeping the boys motoring. Heitinga was again a monster, and think he will be starting alongside the Jags soon enough. Neil was solid enough again without being spectacular. Baines.... Fellaini has gone from our player of the season to being our most improved player also. Reveled in the deeper role again today. Ossie has had his critics on here, but quality performance today. Like the look of Donovan and hopefully in a week or 2 he will be more accustomed to everything. Cahill had his best game so far this year, but is desperate to get on scoring run (held on looking to score himself when he did Gallas) Pienaar had a typical Stevie P performance and WHAT A FINISH. Saha looked like he was struggling, but even still could have had a bagful today. My vote goes to Neville (just) for marshalling the defence and leading completely by example. Onward and upward Blues!!!!
  3. The kids in school think I'm a bit mental because I go into work all year round in shorts. Although to be honest I've been pretty close to donning my tracky bottoms this week. As for all the postponing of games, it's mostly due to fact that clubs are frightened to death of someone getting hurt on the way to the ground and suing em. Hopefully ours goes ahead... could really do without adding another game onto the back end of the season with our imminent run to the Europa League and FA Cup Finals aswell!!!
  4. Not bad. All 21 in 6.35. Trying the top 200 prem goal scorers now. Sad I know!
  5. ... And a clean sheet! We have been spoilt today!
  6. WOO HOO!!! Great ball from Yak and well deserved from Pienaar!
  7. GET IN VAUGHANY YOU FOOKIN BEAUTY!!!!!!
  8. Fuck off baines with your shit crossing!!!!
  9. In the last few games Hibbo has been running down the right hand side like a good un and getting into some really good positions..... same again today, and if he could cross a ball with any consistency or accuracy he'd be awesome. We need to get a goal from somewhere, but I think confidenece is the key. Because we haven't really got anyone on pitch who's been scoring for fun, were trying to walk the ball in and nobody is taking responsibility for a shot outside the box if its on. When we do eventually decide to take the shot, it's too late and we're closed down or the angle is crap. Anyway.... Good performance from the majority of the lads again. Bily looking good with ball at feet, same as Ossie and Pienaar. Cahill is grafting his little bits off, shame he's not getting any back up from the 'Nack'er. COYB
  10. Easy choice for me... Heitinga and Neill played really well, and we may well have come across our best CB pairing by default. Pienaar worked tirelessly again. Bily, some decent touches but I think coming to the end of the Russian season is afecting his work rate maybe. Saha had a frustrating time today, but could've still slotted. MOM easy though was Felli. Always wanting the ball, driving us forward, breaking up their attacks, some delicious through balls, dominated Jones in the air, and then to cap it all off with the equaliser.
  11. FINALLY!!!!! Capped a fantastic performance from Felli so far. MOM by a mile for me!
  12. What a quality through ball from Fellaini. Split the defenders and if Saha was a little quicker we were in! Thanks for the feed by the way....
  13. Afternoon Blues, hope we all had a good day yesterday?!?! Any decent links for this? Ones I use are pretty shitty at the minute!
  14. AMEN :pope:   :thumbsup_anim: and any other suitable smiley faces!!!
  15. Football: Everton (& I enjoy winding the kids in school up by telling them I support Leicester as my 'lower league team' Rugby League: Saints and Souths (although got a soft spot for the storm after being allowed to watch them train in 2000). Kick & Clap: Don't mind the Ospreys too much, but the game is dominated far too much by kick tennis. Cricket: Lancs/England American Football: Bears (memories of the Refrigerator as a kid) Basketball: Houston Rockets/Chicago (memories of favourite players again (Hakeem Olajuwon/Pippin and Jordan) Anyone playing Australia or the Redshite will always be my second team aswell!
  16. Can't believe we didn't win that. We have played (and will play) worse and win this season! Baines was awesome, although can't really pick a bad performance really. On another note, nice to see Vaughan get 1 or 2 decent touches when he came on. I'm praying that the lad is finally over his injuty nightmares.
  17. To be fair, he skinned the full backs a few times and then got put on his arse. Everytime he did manage to escape without being belted, Yakubu was stood 30-40 yds away keeping his thumb warm in his arse! Thought it was quite a positive performance from him myself.
  18. Thought all the young boys did well tonight. Duffy was excellent until the goal, and then was almost trying to hard to make up for it. Coleman was spot on again. For me it was between these 2 Agard and Akpan. Think I'm going to go for........ Akpan. Great energy, always looking to get on the ball, and kept the momentum up whenever he did get it. The future is looking fantastic with all the folk that played tonight. Our oldest outfield player was 26 (and probably won't be here too much longer if he doesn't oull his finger out of his arse soon).
  19. Nothing against Giggs... think he's been a fantastic servant to Man U, and to footy in general, in which case he should've got some lifetime acheivement award or something. But he's done nothing to stand out amongst a crowd of World Champions/Olympic Champions etc to warrant getting the Personality of the Year. Few random ones in there aswell. Strauss and Murray.... thought you had to have a personality to be in with a shout!
  20. Not sure how to get the wee picture thingy but got 93,359 on level 1. Not too bad despite getting St James Park (Exeter) and choosing Newcastle instead.
  21. Coleman MOM without a doubt. Exciting going forward, well timed and aggresive challenges in defence. Even managed to give Crouch some shit aswell! Saha was good when he came on. If the overhead kick had gone in, I think I might have done a little sex wee in my kecks. Felli really starting to put some performances together in that holding role now. Cahill will hopefully kick on (after his ban) following on from his goal. Usually goes on a bit of a scoring spree! Fingers crossed. I think all Jo needs is a goal now. He's running the channels well, holding the ball up and working hard. Just can't a break! And then there's Timmy Howard... Some good saves, and then the big un to save the point! Genuinely believe the last 2-3 games could just be the spark our season needs!
  22. Buzzing with the fact that we came back from 2 down. I'm confused though. The pundits (who I'm assuming are supposed to know what they're talking about) were saying that we were getting battered in the first half and that we were lucky to be still in the game at 0-0. I thought we were the better side in the first half and were unlucky to not go in in the lead. 2nd half- shit start------> GREAT FINISH!!! Could this be the game where we see our season finally begin. The Coleman and Hibbert challenges brought back images of Neville snapping into Ronaldo! COYB
  23. Fine if your forced to defend against Cole, but tell you what... the kid could certainly frighten him if he gets the opportunity to go forward! Fantastic game from the lad and rightly given MOM on Sky.
  24. Heard on SSN that Bullard has crocked himself again. Apparently he was in tears when he left the pitch. Can't help but to feel really sorry for the lad. 10-11 months out with a knee injury, and then been dazzling since he came back. Curse of the player of the month maybe.....?!?! Anyway, hope he's not out for too long
