He's not coming back Haf or are you itk.
-
Jeez, we really are shopping in poundland.
-
WoW, its a wonder we're still in business.
-
Apparently £200k for 12 months, yeah I think money would have been the main factor for that move.

Billy Gilmour, Conor Gallagher, Todd Cantwell, Kieran Dowell, Beni Baningami, who would you have in your team,? They are all a similar type of player and I wouldn't take any of them at all. It seems to me that Lampard is scratching about in a panic wanting to sign anybody. Some of the players we are getting linked with are no improvement and i would rather not sign anybody at all.

That could be for any number of reasons. If played in a system for which he's not suited, he won't do well. If Lampard believes he can use him more productively (and he knows the guy from Chelsea days, right?), then go for it. If someone has proved themselves more, we'd be paying through the nose. As it is, we must take risks and rely on the good judgment of our manager and the recruitment team.
Doesn't matter what system you play, if your good enough you'll play.
You miss out the main reason why he didn't play, in a team that was the worst in the division with a squad of players who were also the worst in the league, he didn't play because the manager thought he wasn't good enough. That's a simple enough reason.Â

Back end of the season he couldn't get into the Norwich team, is that a relevant stat ?. we need better than this.
-
Not the sort of mid we need, this fella hasn't scored a single goal in his career. He's not going to give us an awful lot more than Warrington can give us, we need to try what we've got before we go out and buy someone who is not any better.

Apparently he's not even in Efc thoughts, count him out.

Not for me. We already have Gray who is forever running down blind alleys, a fair amount of skill but nothing in the head to make use of it, so we don't need another one.

Allan's legs are going, Doucoure is really poor technically, Gomes and Davies are not good enough, Godfrey and Holgate are barely good enough on the ball at the back for a possession based team never mind as a proper midfielder.Â
Our central midfield is a huge problem. Arguably, Allan and Doucoure should be the back-ups or rotational starters and not be relied upon to play 38 games a season.Â
Bailey,We are not City, Redshite, or Chelsea, don't expect us to get any better than what we've already got or you're going to be very disappointed.

Jesus Christ no!
Allan, Doucoure, Gomez, Davies, Godfrey, Holgate, there's half a dozen teams in the prem who would take any one of them.
-
Godfrey or Holgate could play in that position and we also have the players you mentioned. No panic for me there.

He'll be back.

65m and 35m might be a better figure, Efc might be swayed into accepting that. ( 100m ).

I find it strange that Gordon would ever be touted as being a part of the deal.Â
Only being touted by Spurs.

? Can't see anything Matt.

Agreed, I would like to see us play the top four as our opening games.
-
Will you ever see another test like that one.
-
Best player on the pitch today. I'd take him, but as its been quoted the price would be a stumbling block for us. Perhaps setting our targets too high. ?

Been in Goodison since 1982. ??
