I agree, but for an hour we were the better team, had more efforts on goal and could have, with a better strikeforce, been 2-0 up at half time. The lack of a decent partner for Beattie is costing us points, he cant do it all on his own. That problem should be getting sorted NOW, but dithering Davey will leave it until the opening day of the new season, and all the decent strikers will be signed by other clubs. I feel a bit of sympathy for our midfielders at the moment, who besides doing their own job, have to track back and cover for 2 slow aging centre backs, and also have to provide the goals because we're short of forwards to play up with Beattie, Davey is asking a bit too much of them, and if he is not carefull, we could lose Cahill and Arteta to other clubs, in the Close season.

Dont know if you noticed or not but solano's 1st goal it was a blatant 2 handed push on Valente as the cross was coming over, thats how valente ended up in the net. On solano's 2nd goal he was cruelly exposed because the left midfield man was nowhere to be seen, never tracked back.

Think it was expected, still brill for Wigan fans tho, makes for a marvellous day out and they will always remember it. ( first time at a final ).

Have read some posts on here about Blues fans coming from a mixed family ( Blues & Reds) was wandering how it all comes about. In my case i come from a large family and have 3 brothers and myself who are Blues, and a younger brother who is a Red, as was my father. Also have another brother who doesnt like sport of any sort, and i cant recall him ever going to a footy match. In my case it was my uncle Tommy who took me to my first game, so i have him to thank for that, but i wonder why, with my Father being a red didnt his eldest son, my eldest brother take after the father. I also wonder why, after having four Brothers who are blues, does my younger brother end up being a Red. !! One of lifes mystery's that i cannot explain, has aybody else got similar circumstances, and what is your explanation of how it all came about. some interesting stories may come out of this...................Licker.

After all the hype about Avast i went and downloaded it free, but now when i turn on my PC an avast window comes on the screen and tells me it has discovered two other antivirus securities on my PC, ( Spybot s & d, and Norton ) and is not compatable so it has turned itself off. With Spybot search and Destroy and the Norton working OK, i went to remove or uninstall Avast, but it wont let me, anybody familiar with this, or any suggestions please. Licker.
