Just checked Bolton's web site, and since losing 4-1 at OLD TRAFFORD on december 31st, Bolton are also undefeated in 2006, total of 8 games......... 2 of them have been F A Cup games.

Your right Bernie, I,m sure if the club had backed him with some money, Joe Royle would indeed have been very good for the Club, unfortunately Things were'nt very good at the time, and it seemed that a £40 million debt put paid to any team strenghtening. This is why Joe had to rely on Grit and Determination (Dogs of War) as there was no chance of him being able to buy Class players, he had to rely on Free transfers and over the hill players he could pick up wandering about the leagues. Speaks volumes for his Man Management Skills, that he could get such a Motley Crew playing as a team.

Highly delighted, just shows that if your heart is big enough and the spirit is willing, you can overcome all obstructions that are put in your way. (have a read of my sig, thats what its all about). Heroes, every one of them, not just for sitting back and keeping them out, but for taking the game to them, could have been, and should have been, 3 or 4 nil. The Ref, and the linesmen should be admonished for a complete and utter incompetent display, and if there is any justice it should be seen to be done, as a deterrent against future abyssmal displays such as that one.
