The few players they have are not getting the chances that they used to in the top division. It hasn't affected england so badly due to higher numbers of quality players.

Earnshaw has scored far more than Trundle over the years and in higher divisions. He scored 14 last season in a struggling premiership side and with mainly substitute appearances. In the years preceding at Cardiff he was easily over 20 goals each season. The year he left for West Brom he was the Championships top scorer in a struggling Cardiff side. Added to his international goal tally which is excellent as well as hat tricks at EVERY LEVEL! I think he is a far safer bet than fatty Trundle who has never been out of the top 2 divisions as well as being faster and younger.

Trundle is shite, one footed and slooow by championship standards let alone prem. There is a reason why he has only ever played in the bottom 2 divisions. Can't believe people would pick him over a proven premiership striker (and a lot younger) Earnshaw.

Oi name thief!!! Earnshaw has scored goals at premiership llevel, is cheap and available. A no-brainer as far as I am concerned.

Is it true that Koldrups problem is that he simply cannot header the ball? Garavesen recommended us to him, can he really be bad enough to flog without being given a decent chance?

But Earnshaw has scored far more goals than Nugent and at higher levels. Earnshaw has also over 5-6 seasons been a 20 a season scorer. I don't see the problem with him. Nugent is a very good player though and I would like to see us sign him.
