still missing another 2 mill.
Pienaar money, if it hasn't already disappeared
-
swp off to the trotters possibly we are still looking for some creativity so why not have a bash?
If we got relegated i would understand links to SWP, he's just not a premiership player. Only made it because of his dad and the newspapers, type of player Redknapp would buy, because the daily scum said he was good and Everton were after him

Messi's one-footbed .
Messi's not good enough for them prem according to Rooney aha. Keepin on Messi, would u have him in our starting 11?
-
Ipswich have accepted Sunderland's £13m bid for 18-year-old striker Connor Wickham. What do you think of Wickham and the size of his fee?
He's far to one-footed to make it at the top. In the U17 WC he only done well because of he's already matured, and then didn't do much last season. He's a poor mans Anichebe, and thats probably being harsh on Vic

Hi guys, I just thought I'd share this essay done by a friend of mine on the eligibility issue. I am sure there are quite a few Irish Evertonians with an interest in the matter and it is an excellent resource for those less than versed in the whole affair. Let me know what you think of it.
Link: http://playereligibilityinireland.blogspot.com/2011/06/fifa-player-eligibility-in-context-of.html
"There is a significant minority community in Northern Ireland that identifies culturally not as British, not as Northern Irish, not as British Irish, but simply as Irish" Got to completely disagree about this, from experience there is a greater divide than i expected, with most Irish people i've met pointing out their Northern or Republic to the point that some will actually correct/inform you if you said they where Irish and shout Northern or Republic respectably. Football wise a can see why most probably supported the Republic because they were higher ranked and had players such as Keane, Duff and Keane, however in the article it states players felt 'Irish' which i guess would mean they would support both? Bit like saying am British if yer from England, Wales, Scotland or N.Ireland
-
Run! You'll upset people with that comment! Republic of Ireland is a proper nation!
Coleman is from Donegal in the Republic, there's nothing British about him or Northern Irish about him.
Duffy would have been eligible but has now played for ROI U21 so is unable to switch back to NI (and therefore Britain Olympic Team) under FIFA rules. It's probably fair to say that he feels more Irish than British anyway so wouldn't want to switch.
Personally, I would have liked to see the Olympic football tournament expanded so that more teams could play.
Knew that Duffy is from Derry (got a few friends from there and there abouts and they definitely class themselves as British) and jus always mistakenly thought Coleman was as well. T'is a silly rule that N.Irish and Rep.Irish can play for either; should either have a joint team or 2 separate with players only eligible to play for where they and/or their parents where born/raised. The 'pick an mix' they have atm is a farce of a rule that causes more problems than it solves.
-
As has been said Pete, Duffy & Coleman are Republic players and not eligible.
Whoops! Thought it would have jus went from their proper nationalities rather than the nation they play for.
-
I'd like to see a team similar to this, but can imagine it would be more like the 2nd team
Camp
Walker, Smalling, Duffy, Wallace
Fletcher
Coleman, Wilshire, Rodwell, Ramsey
Bellamy
Hart
Walker, Evans, Terry, Baird
Walcott, Ramsey, Henderson, Adam, Bale
Carroll

jus scored for England U17s, he looks a class above the rest of the players

Who do u think/hope we will realistically bring in?
Based on the assumed generation of 10 million that we're meant to be raising for N'zogbia. Sadly can't think of many strikers who we could afford and would improve us.
-

Straight after the incident over the radio he said "What is he doing?", but after the race he said he just hadn't seen Hamilton.
There was enough space for Hamilton to pass Button, he got his nose in and then Button veered into him.
Didn't you watch it?
Buttons at fault for the crash but It was a stupid move by Hamilton

This signing would be more of a case of them trying to weaken us, rather than strengthen them. They done this to Villa the last 2 seasons(Barry, Milner) and they don't even look like a top half team anymore and made it a lot easier for Young and possibly Downing to leave this summer. We done well to keep everyone last season and it would be a waste of the increased wages if we start selling them now as well as make it more difficult to keep on to our other 'marquee' players
