  1. I don't think Pienar really believed that Spurs were a better team.He knew they probably had more money to spend and perhaps could be going forward a tad quicker than us, and that at the time of his transfer stood maybe a much better chance of a top 4 finish than we did.

No I think he left for one reason, more money, didn't he state that if Everton met his wage demands then he wanted to stay with us!

On paper, and on the pitch (we drew with and beat them this season) we are as good a team/squad as Spurs, if injuries hadn't blighted us we WOULD have finished higher than them.

No, Pienaar got what he wanted, a massive pay rise, still doing the job he obviously loves. He always gave Everton 100%, I don't think we could have asked a lot more, players come and players go.

BUT I'll always believe he left for nothing more than money.

surely next season the battle for the places between 4th and 7th will again involve Everton and Spurs, Pienaar will be involved in that battle, just on £20,00 a week more than he was getting at Everton, kinda makes sence, if your not an Evertonian!

yes, he'll be gettin an extra 20000 which after tax is 10000, then take account for the dimishing returns of each additional £, that extra 20000 doesnt really outway 1st team football, and i highly doubt he'll be involved much nex year. From this, all i can deduct from pienaar is that he is a money grabbin c*nt and he couldnt give a shit about football. Berbatov took less money to play at the top level with man u, rather than city. Saha took less money to get 1st team football. these are real footballers, and am glad we dont have the money grabber anymore

  2. He has terrorised defences all over Europe and he scored one of the best volleys I have ever seen in my life, think it was against Stoke away.

He has devastating pace, can beat defenders with ease, never stops runing can finish with either foot and takes a superb free kick but other than that yeah he is shit!

Oh and Matt I am hardly on my own in rating him if his fellow profesionals are about to vote him the player of the year and there are clubs all over Europe said to be ready to bid up to £30M for him in the summer

all over europe, yet struggles against any decent prem players (as well as wes brown). he's got pace and a great shot but lacks in defence and brains. bit of a cross between walcott and coleman. If he's worth 30 mil coleman must be worth even more

  3. bale has stood out to me against inter and that is it..and the only reason in my eyes is because maicon spends half his time up front and bale had 50 yards to run into..as that says he has 1 goal and 6 assists..i'm sorry i just don't see the big whoop with bale

completely agree. plus its an absolute joke he's considered for a premiership award because of it.

  4. With Fellaini we lost to Newcastle, drew with Wolves, lost to Villa and drew with Fulham - a total of two points. Without Fellaini we beat Newcastle, Wolves and Fulham and drew with Villa - 10 points so I don't really think that argument stands up.

I don't think anyone can argue that over the past two seasons we have performed consistently better when Fellaini has been injured. When he's played, we've struggled and had to play catch up at the end of the season. I like the guy but I do think he's a little overrated and a luxury we don't really need, sell him for big £'s and get in someone who'll really make a difference - a quality pacy winger/striker.

Re-watch the chelsea (arguably the team with the best midfield in the prem) match, he makes essien and lampard look like a school boys. Best match ive seen in the last 2 years was against city where fellaini absolutely dominated a team from DM. I have no idea how anyone would consider fellaini over-rated, not a team in the world he wouldn't get in to.

  5. never been to a festival before..was thinkin of doin one this year what would people recommend?

work at the festivals, and T in the park seems to have the best vibe and line ups, its the one am most jealous that am not with all the fans. Wakestock if yer still in yer teens or a hippy. Avoid V fest if your goin for music absolutely shocking performances. BBC big weekend is good if yer jus goin for a day out with the kids. ive never been bestival but my uni mates say its the best(excuse the pun)

  6. Wake up and smell the coffee, Bily was not only the worst player on the pitch on Tuesday night he was probably the worst player in the stadium.

I very much doubt that "most people would agree Piennar is a bag of poo" and what stats are you talking about?

atleast put some 'reason' behind your opinion (a la matt), cos to me it jus looks like blue kippers your bible. To single out bily on tuesday is madness, no one done well in that game, but bily certainly weren't the worst player of an awful team performance

  7. Statistic from 08/09 and 09/10 seasons.

Everton won 27 out of 57 (47.4%) matches when Pienaar started, but only 6 out of 19 (31.6%) when he didn't. Quite influential, you'd agree?

... and the 2010/2011 stats? he was here more than 2 seasons. cherry pickin doesnt make u right, jus a manipulate statistician

  8. Yes clueless and I was trying to be polite at that!

You have clearly got something against Piennar because you are always moaning about him and anybody who cant see that he was one of our best players in his time at the club has clearly got shit for brains.

You are complaining about people giving Bily stick yet all you have ever done is give Piennar stick so its a little two faced for me and in answer to your question yes Bily has been an awful lot worse than Coleman,Baines, Jags, Distin, Osman, Felli, Neville and well pretty much the entire Everton team

Pienaar fans baffle me, all he done was run around kuyt-esque and most people would agree he's a bag of poo, and when you look at the stats he's alot better than pienaar or mr no-end-product as he should be called. As much as he was involved in most of our good play he broke it down more than any single everton player i have ever seen. i had as much faith in pienaar scorin from outside the box as i did davy weir, yet he always went for glory with no avail.

in no match has bily been the worse player on the pitch and in the utter dire matches he's tended to be part of the brighter spells (apologies for soundin like a weather man)

only felli, baines and distin can hold there heads up high this season, the rest should be banded together.

  9. Oh change the record you clueless f**kwit

clueless? has bily been any worse than anybody else or is he bein used as a scapegoat? simon davies got the same shit for no good reason. as individual players this season its only possible to criticise arteta, as for everbody else its the whole team bein shit.

  10. Once in a bluemoon spectacular goals are not nearly enough from a midfielder costing that much money if there's bugger all contribution in between them.

bily's done more for everton than pienaar did, and u's all sucked his dick. sick of ignorant fans like u jus singlin players out. the whole team was shit, stop lookin 4 a scapegoat. fellaini in his 1st season had people on his back even thou he was 1 of our top scorer and probs and 1 of our best players that season, jus looks like bilys' the new victim

  11. man u 83

    arse 82

    chelc 73

    city 64

    everton 63

    lpool 60

    spurs 56

    ——

    b'burn 39

    wigan 34

    w brom 33

didnt realise how hard spurs run in is. done man u to beat chelc twice. been slightly biased for us but if we dont fuck up we shouldnt lose more than 1 game till the end of the season now. if we finish a point behind city i will cry, with the amount of points we've tossed away this season
