  1. As Romey said EW its not about jumping on the bandwagon mate which is one thing i like about this site is the fact people seem to have a wide variety of views and opinions, I no what you mean about favourable players and so on but its not the case with Hibbert he has been consistantly very poor for a large part of his career. I know the other lads at the back have not been formidable but Jags has been our best player so far this season in my opinion and has very much played as well as any other player in the league so far, Lescott as we know has been shite but is slowly getting back to his old self as seen today he is pulling his finger out, Bains has played quite well in the chances he's been given and with more experiance and abit more confidence will make a good LB, Hibbert has cost us three very very important points today in my view as i've already said his defensive qualities are very poor he is as others have already said nowhere near the quality a team in the EPL needs. To produce decent flowing football down the flanks as you said it starts at the back and Hibbert cant beat players he cant pass and has no vision which makes it hard for anyone to link up with him.
  2. Very poor to say the least again today the first goal he didnt even get off the ground to challenge properly plus he was on the wrong side of his man, the second goal he plays Duff onside then runs away from him leaving him unmarked to score!!!! I for one am fucking bewildered that people who get paid to judge players for a living cant see the FACT he's a very poor defender he is Championship quality at best. No positional awarness not a great tackler of the ball and has a pass thats on par with a blind man pissing in the wind!
  3. we'll be lucky come away with a point at this rate we are being totally dominated at present
  4. You can blame hibbert for it may not the build up as you said Saha pissing about but the goal a defender should be able to stop any player in the air regardless of who it is especially against another defender it was Stephen Taylor ffs he's hardly a prolific goal scorer with his head plus he was on the wrong side of his man!!!!! Anyway atleast like you said we seem abit hungrier and seem to be playing better football but saying that look who we are playing im not getting carried away as Newcastle are an absolute joke. Fucking joke oh look who left his man Hibbert again! plays him onside then runs away from him!
  5. Hibbert ffs i wish we would see sense and get rid of the gormless twat
  6. A few on here that i had forgot about especially that gimp Massimo Taibi Mnaure had in goals http://www.ave-it.net/Football%20Transfer%20flops.htm check this on out as well made me laugh, the fifth comment down http://forum.football.co.uk/about24272.html
  7. People keep on about luckypool out played us, just remember they were off the back of a very rare and lucky win against Man Utd!...(own goal and a miss-hit shot) ! Whilst we were shot to pieces confidence wise! Added to the obvious money thing, and we got what we expected. I dont think its a case of people going on about it its the fact that the shite are a team that we are and have been for some time looking to leapfrog and the fact it was plainly obvious we are not anywhere near that level. Did you watch the game they played against United? they where far from lucky mate Shots (on Goal) LFC 22(7) UTD 8(2) Fouls 10 18 Corner Kicks 5 4 Offsides 1 4 Time of Possession 54% 46% Yellow Cards 0 2 Red Cards 0 1 Saves 1 6 Now dont get me wrong am not defending the cunts just the fact some people seem blind to the fact we where well and truly outplayed and at the moment how bad our situation actually is, there may be some similarities to last season and so on but to me this time is different why should we lack confidence in the first game of the season? Like others i asume alot has gone on in the background but that doesnt and shouldnt justify the shit we have seen being played in the blue shirt it falls on Moyes toes to sort the team out in every area, No excuses!
  8. Moyes may posses the necicary skills to take us into the top four but it wont in my opinion ever happen until investment is found. I dont think Moyes is a great tactiction by any means which is a massive stumbling block in todays game and as much as i rate Moyes for all he has done for the club with the resources he has and will be given at present i dont think he can take us any further. We all saw the massive void in quality against the shite last week thats one hell of a bridge to gap on a shoe string budget and a manager that seems berift of any confidence. I dont think its a case anymore of breaking the top four its more the case of keeping up with teams such as Villa and Pompey which looks very unlikely we can or will. At present i'd like Moyes to stay and ride out the storm plus if he did go things would only get worse imo as their are very few decent managers available if any.
  9. I hope they do well i like Phil Brown he's a good bloke who looks like he has a good managerial career ahead of him. They remind me abit of Reading when they came up a few seasons ago and did very well i think they can finish within the top twelve which would be a massive achievement, Goodluck to em.
  10. Good man! I hate the press and the tripe they stir. The power they yield is unreal they can make or brake anyone which should not be allowed. I'll stop before i rant on because i cant stand the cunts <_<
  11. I dont think there are any British managers available tbh that would do much if any better then Moyes, Although there will be foreign managers who may be able to do more tactically. I dont think the club can or will move forward untill we gain serious investment and spend as the squad we currently posses has a massive lack of technical ability pace and awareness, so untill a decent amount of money is spent i dont think imo this season will ever be kick started.
  12. Well as we all are am gutted but i have to say welldone to Liege who where far more tactically aware and prepared then ourselves. I do believe the Everton team of last season would have beaten Liege quite convincingly over the two legs. I really think if AJ was still in our ranks with his pace and work ethic he's have played a massive part in our campaign. Who's got a tranny van so we can arrange to kidnap Carsley back
  13. Jags for me to, as already said his commitment was top draw again.
  14. Bollocks! good challange tbh got the ball typical when we look like we might have a chance this happens
  15. Get in!!! they look stifled since the change COYB
  16. I wouldnt say there a very good side more the fact we are making them look that way with how poor we are playing, Moyes needs to wake up and make changes now!
  17. I agree Hibbert is very poor and looks lost tonight, tbh i dont think Leige look any good i thought we had enough to win in the 1st game and still do here i just think Moyes has fucked it upto now with his tactics in the middle of the park.
  18. 1) What will the outcome of the match be? Everton 3 Newcastle 1 2) Which player should we fear most? Yakubu but i have a sneaky feeling Castillo if he plays i also fancy him getting a goal 3) Which player do you fear most? Micheal Owen 4) Where do you think you will finish this season? 7th-10th 5) Where do you think Newcastle will finish this season? 14th-15th
  19. I'd say a similer size to the one in the picture mate if i wanted it extending i could always add to it i suppose, starting a new job soon so im gonna be as discrete as poss for now i think
  20. Yeah 15 mate i went to Blackpool one day which is littered with backstreet tattoo shops so they did'nt seem to arsed about my age just said i was eighteen in a slightly husky voice as you do went to school the following monday thinking i was the man . I would like something similar to this or along those lines http://tattoo.about.com/library/graphics/082903m.jpg might design my own as it will need to cover the other tattoo though, when i asked my local tattoist he said it would cost around £150 so might get it done within the next month.
  21. Oh my not another brown streak on your chin there Ant mate
  22. Good thread mate, erm hard to say best tbh id say one of the most memorable i ever scored was in the semi finals of the Lancashire cup for my high school, i was in the forth year and we played St Cecilia's who had Preston's keeper Andy Lonergan playing for them, I scored one of them goals where the balls rolling to you and you think fuck it av it and it went flying in from about 30 odd yards scored a tap in that game aswell won 6.1 and went on to win the Lancashire cup
  23. I'd like to have the club motto etched either down my calf or across my back as Stevo's said his mate has. Just remember though dont get anythin that you'll regret later in life i got a british bulldog's face on my bicep when i was 15 i look a right twit when its on show looks like something from a tom and jerry cartoon will be getting it covered with a Mowry pattern soon.
