  1. Mornin chaps :whaa: i'd like to see Baines at LB myself as we know J.Lo has'nt been at his best of late i know its early doors at the mo but Baines gives us a little more pace down the line and i think he'd be more suited to playing off Pienaar, Saha when fit with Yak should be a topnotch pairing as i think they would complement each other quite well also with Timmy pushing up aswell it reeks goals to me. Either way 442 or 451 atleast we have good players to accommodate either formation now. -----------------------------------HOWARD------------------------------------- NEVILLE------------YOBO----------------------JAGIELKA----------BAINES -----------------------------------FELLANI-------------------------------------- ----------ARTETA----------------CAHILL-----------------PIENAAR------------ -------------------------YAK-----------------SAHA------------------------------
  2. Good tune Louis mate, I listen to all sorts really anything from D&B to Ska, these two brothers who busk down south are a good act if your into the old Ska/Reggae stuff. The Dualers Seen a link to a clip on youtube the other day and come across this lad i tells you what some voice for a bloke sings better then most female singers i've ever heard
  3. Been on a diet. Over two weeks, I lost 14 days, haha made me laugh never heard that one
  4. I agree with what your saying really Blue Oz id just like someone who has enough financial clout to buy a couple of players within the 10-20mil region, and like some have said also not lose sight of our own up and coming young talent. Id love us to have a similer all round set-up to Arsenal tbh where the board when needed have and give Wenger what he wants and support his progress.
  5. Just a little humour mate i can see your point as am sure the others do but dont take it to heart mate
  6. As EW has said the main problem with Appiah is his knee we all know he's a very good player but knee injuries nearly always resurface which is ashame as he would imo make a good EPL player but one knock on that knee and he could be out for a long time/retirement, if any club where to take a gamble on him and from what ive read his favoured destination is Arsenal.
  7. I cant see him going anywhere not in the near future that is, the Newcastle job is a managerial suicide and anyone with half a brain knows that, Westham are and will be for years to come a mediocre team who need alot of work doing and money spent to achieve what Moyesy has here plus id assume he and his family are very settled to life in the NW which is another small reason but may personally bare some weight to himself and family that i think he'll be looking at the United hotseat.
  8. shame i didnt win the lottery last night
  9. I dont rate Crouch tbh not at International level anyway, his record on paper for England is good but against very poor opposition. He simply wouldnt work against teams with a strong backline imo, id have him as an impact player for the 20 thats about it. Defoe is a Decent Prem striker but i cant see him ever cutting it as an International player tbh. I'd much rather Darren Bent prove his critics wrong and get in the team ahead of Crouch and Defoe. I agree about Rooney like but atleast he plays for the shirt and has that desire to play he's a tough one to make a call on tbh.
  10. I agree Jamie mate that prolly is the best we have at present to offer, the team i put up was more of a future team i should have said given time to gel and gain experiance if you get my drift. Either way anyone puts it at this moment in time i dont think where going to be a good international team for some years compared to how other nations are coming on leeps and bounds whereas we seem to be stuck in second gear all the time, not looking forword to the Croatia game
  11. Rooney is a good player for England as he is one of few that has the desire but at the end of the day he's a striker and his record is pretty poor his contribution in an England shirt is more that of a Midfielder. I've changed my mind ^_^ this is how my team would look, I think imo Rooney would suit a sort of free role just behind the front two as we know he can create and push forward very well. Im not a big fan of Bently tbh as his delivery is good he has no pace or skill to skip past players where as Lennon has the latter but his delivery is worse then my local takeaway, the other opstion is SWP who may come good at City. -----------------------Green--------------------------- Johnson-----Terry-------------Ferdinand-----A.Cole --------------------------------------------------------- --------------------Huddlestone----------------------- --------------------------------------------------------- Bently----------------Rooney--------------------J.Cole --------------------------------------------------------- -------------Walcott------------------------------------ ------------------------------Agbonhalor--------------
  12. Cheers Louis, seems the commentator is abit queer all he keeps saying is anal
  13. Well i thought under Capello we'd see massive changes as am sure most of you lads did but he seems to be playing it safe, i know its abit of topic but id really like to see the younger lads come in and get a chance to gel to International football or otherwise they will get tossed in willynilly and have no chance, We have played this setup or very very similer for some years now and its obviously not working very well so bloody change it gets on my tits tbh that we can see it but these clowns cant If we had a fit squad to choose from what and who would you lads like to see? -----------------------Green--------------------------- Johnson-----Terry-------------Ferdinand-----A.Cole --------------------------------------------------------- --------------------Huddlestone----------------------- --------------------------------------------------------- Bently----------------J.Cole--------------------Young --------------------------------------------------------- -------------Walcott------------------------------------ ------------------------------Agbonhalor--------------
  14. Ey that was sum Ko chaps a so called champ in the making KO'd by a guy ranked in at 127 in the world happy days
  15. As much as id love Khan to get his ass handed to him as i cant stand the twit it wont be in this fight i think, although Prescott has a good record its against some of the worst Boxers i've ever seen one of his latest victories was against a kid with a record of 0 wins and 20 losses Frank the plank Warren knows Khan has recieved bad criticism for fighting tarts who have no power thats why he's lined up this silver lined bum and has his own ppl saying how hard Prescott hits <_< If you have'nt booked this joke of a fight you can watch it here on this handy little site i found today http://www.chavster.ulmb.com/ you can watch it free via stream on here also has footie on aswell
  16. I think it is a good idea as it would tick all the boxes but as i dont live in the city i think if my hardline opinion was asked i wouldnt want to comment as the lads who live in Liverpool will feel a tad different about it to me.
  17. I'd say £5mil isnt extortionate tbh he isnt an unproven Championship player he has experiance and has proven he can ply his trade in the Prem, the Pienaar deal is one of those that are very rare tbh and we where very lucky to get him for so little.
  18. "It's true I was interested in going to Everton" "I never thought about another club" "I have a contract until 2013 and my body and soul is with Sporting" "But who knows what might happen next season in terms of playing in England?" Makes sense doesnt it I agree with you Mikel mate thats the impression i got aswell. I dont think we will ever see this lad in an Everton shirt tbh and im not to botherd either alot of fuss for this lad which i think most of which is unjustified at present! plus the boys with the bigger wallets will come knocking next season and both Joao and Sporting will know that oh well at least we got Fellaini who seems to be from most accounts a diamond in the ruff.
  19. I think your right Liker mate Castillo imo will play the more advanced football and Fellaini will do the dirty work at the back either way tho if both turn out to be good players and we have a fully fit squad we look very good on paper, With the likes of Saha competing and a good set of MF's to choose from im quite looking forward to how things pan out, As we know were very suspect at the back with Lesbo at CB i just hope Moyes see's sense and goes back to the winning formula we had last season plus i'd like Jacobson to turn out to be an improvement on Neville if that is the case i can still se us doing very well
  20. Neville is a more realiable and more consistant player then Hibbert tbh he's one player who we should have covered and shipped out by now imo, he's an actor now so wont see much of him soon http://www.moviewallpapers.net/images/wall...-thou-1-800.jpg
  21. Sprooly the only ppl to blame for this supposed deal is our own club not Sporting i actually admire what they have achieved over there in terms of building on solid foundations and not being a selling club "anymore" if your going to blame anyone the only ppl to point the finger at is our own club no one elses simple as that really. Cheers for the info and updates Sporting goodluck with this season
  22. I was reading up on there new owners the abu dhabi group and the man at the front of it was saying how much money for transfers will be avialable come january he said something like a £100mil but didnt want to say that amount was concrete because more would likely be available! also said that abramovich has pumped £1billion into Chelsea so far frighting really, I think its pretty obvious the ground is a big reason why prospective buyers may not want a hand in our club which tbh is understandable considering the extorsionate amount of money stadium builds cost over here, i do think in the near future our club will change hands maybe if this season goes pearshaped and we take big leaps backwards it may come sooner.
