  1. Scott Parker is a good player showed alot of promise at Newcastle but has not in the games he has played looked half the player he was also picks up injuries quite often, Glenn Johnson is a quality player who id love to have here another Portsmouth player i would love to sign Diarra i think Arsenal slipped up in letting him go and has shown he can boss a midfield as good as anyone and i think he would fit right in here.
  2. I think Redknapp is making a massive mistake switching club, I like the bloke he's a top manager and i fear this will just put him on the road to nowhere. He has done a great job at getting Portsmouth to where they are now and given another season and one or two new players i thought they would have a good shot at mixing it with the top four. I wonder how many players will go with him come Jan? I'd love to sign Diarra i really rate the bloke.
  3. I agree Sheedy class and integrity are a massive part what makes a player in my book look at how greatfull Cahill has been to Moyes and Everton for giving him the opportunity. We paved the way for Rooney to become the player he is today and not one ounce of gratitude towards Our Club or Fans.
  4. Its a tough call they have more then enough quality to beat the drop but whether they can pull it together before its to late is another thing. Would be strange to see them go if they did saying that their players would want out so maybe we could have a peek http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5ovBW9Y9GP4
  5. Back on subject then... under Ambani! - so we don't want to sign shite from the championship and back-up blackburn players! - grow up mate its the internet. As the Ambani interest if there where any to begin with had died down people started to post realistic suggestions thats what i did, By that i mean players who we could afford and would be willing to come here. I already said Derbyshire was not a great example but still better then Victor imo so that would be improvment. You have contradicted yourself again, Orr and Buzsaky fall into that category of players who stand out and Bent was Spur's 4th choice striker so backup player applies to him also. I agree Kightly would be a good signing the only worry is his ankle injury and Obinna also looks a very good talent. I wouldnt want M'bia due to his attitude i would much rather have Hunt. Def: Bradley Orr Mid: Stephen Hunt, Akos Buszaky, Matías Fernández Att: Arouna Koné
  6. Bloody hell there some odds mate not a bad bet at all.
  7. He's 26 Romey http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akos_Buzsaky by prospect i mean in terms of a championship player being able to mix it in the prem not by age just my daft way of saying it
  8. I suppose you though the same of Lescott Cahill Lee Carsley Dan Gosling players who all came from next to nothing and have or look to have been quality buys from the Championship, the only one which might not have been a good suggestion was Derbyshire but i still think he's better then Victor. Did you see the post above yours i said it was a quick list of players i though might improve our squad given a tight budget i also said the only two i would take out of the list of proposed players would be Hunt and Buzsaky, In any case its my opinion not yours it doesnt warrant a goby little shite like you to come out with comments like that. If you had such a great footballing knowledge you would know that Buzsaky is one of the hottest prospects in the Championship and Orr also. We aint a multimillion pound outfit who can spend big so those players where cheap suggestions nothing more, with your great footballing knowlage why dont you put some positive input in and suggest playerswithin a tight budget we could sign???? I dont think you have much up top mate as forums are for debating not acting like a little muppet with rash and harsh posts.
  9. A great film that popped into my head earlier is In Bruges, Brendan Gleeson and Colin Farell both play good roles, very funny film and also very serious in parts id say its well worth a watch, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0780536/
  10. What the fuck are you going on about you tit its my opinion nothing more nothing less i dont have any football games mate so dont act a twit and try and be funny, if you dont like other people's opinions do as Dark and Dmac have thats the whole point of a forum you nugget. @Dark & Dmac, the only reason i picked Valente is he is behind Baines and Lescott in the pecking order and with his contract running out in 09 i think he will go, Its more of a player i think will leave then one i want to as i also think he's a good player. Yeah i see where your coming from with McSheffrey mate was my misunderstanding its nothing i'd defo buy its just a quick list of players who imo might improve our current squad if i had a choice and knew how much funds would be available i'd look at other options, the only players i would bring in from the list would be Akos Buzsaky & Stephen Hunt if we had a limited budget. One player i wish we snapped up is Mauro Zárate when he left Birmingham scored 6 in 5 for Lazio so far.
  11. I'd say strangest thing that i cant explain is my Mum used to go and see a clairvoyant with a few friends and have recordings done and play us the tape when she got home. Some of the things they know and say is pretty frightening to be honest, one knew that she had two children a boy and a girl and also had suffered a miscarriage before me and my sister where conceived, also said my Grandad who had past away years before had told here i had pneumonia when i was toddler which was true, Im not a big believer in the supernatural and so on but those readings do make you think.
  12. One of Natures strangest phononemon The Ghost Turd http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=ghost+turd
  13. Nugent is a striker which McSheffrey is not he can play there but is a Left Winger so comparing him to Nugent is way off the mark to start with, He's quick has a great cross and can score goals. Stephen Hunt has already shown he can cut it in the prem its just shortsighted people overlook what this type of player gives to a team as we have seen with Carsley's departure. No world beater i know but his effort and determination are attributes which not many footballers carry today. Ákos Buzsáky http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Akos_Buzsaky is a very skillful CM who will end up playing in the Prem and imo would be a massive hit here. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=hFRxEHXgb78 http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=H1B6u3Qlrlk Derbyshire is a totally different player to Vaughan thats why i said would work well with not better then, He's a better player then Anichebe by far imo he has a better work rate he is quicker can play the ball better and can score from anywhere. Bradley Orr is a good rightback as i've said regarded as the best outside of the Prem. The point i made was we all know without investment we wont be spending alot of money so making the most of what we will most likely have was my point. We have bought Championship players a few times now and each one has more or less paid off. I'd much rather bring in a couple good prospects from the Championship then waste alot of money on one or two big money signings that could turn out to be duds. The season is far from over we've played eight games for fucks sake there's still 30 to go we are only six points behind Villa who are in 6th spot. I know where far from a team that looks like challenging for Europe but we can realistically finish within the top eight.
  14. Link from the Dailey Post of Moyes supposedly hinting that money may be coming http://www.dailypost.co.uk/sport-news/ever...55578-22070013/ These are the blokes who are in question another mega rich Arab outfit http://www.zabeelinvestments.com/aboutus.php Just been reading about it abit on a Newcastle forum some proper deluded knobs http://forums.chroniclelive.co.uk/viewtopic.php?p=217905 Cheeky cunts have the nerve to say we'll never be a big side and that they would be a better acquisition then us.
  15. Haha just spotted that was about to post it until i scrolled down
  16. I like Woodgate i think when on form and fit he's one of the best defenders in the Prem would like to see him and Jags,Come Jan i hope we bring in a few new faces here's a few i'd have a go at if we have enough if any funds. Players In: Gary McSheffrey - Pacey Left winger with a great finish and can also play up front when needed. Stephen Hunt - Strong reliable and gives 100% a player i think could gel our squad. Akos Buzsaky - Quality Right winger who can score also regarded as one of the best outside of the Prem. Matt Derbyshire - Very underrated imo, young English and can score, would work well with Vaughan. Bradley Orr - Local lad who's regarded as one of the best RB's outside of the Prem. Players Out: Hibbert Anichebe Andy van der Meyde Valente I'd obviously love to sign players such as Mountinho's quality but until we do get investment signings like that wont happen so the above are quite realistic and players who i think would improve our squad and would not reguire the biggest of transfure kitty's to bring those players in.
  17. I agree id play Baines as he would be most suited in trying to keep Ronaldo quiet as Lescott lacks the legs as we have already seen. This is one game i would like to see Castillo play as i think he would be quite effective in keeping an eye on Rooney and breaking down some attacks, i think Jags has enough to hold off Berbatit i just hope Lescott has his head screwed on. ------------Howard Neville--Jags----Lescott--Baines -------------Castillo Arteta------Fellaini------Pienaar ---------Saha --------------------Yakubu/Vaughan Subs -- Nash -- Yobo -- Osman -- Rodwell -- Vaughan -- Valente -- Anichebe TeaBoy -- Hibbert
  18. I agree with Regulator on the point of chances to prove their worth, I'd say Castillo looked the better of the two players from a quick veiwing in the first games they played and as some have said Fellaini is starting to settle and show signs that he can become a good player for us same could go for Castillo given the chance. I'd say its either down to an injury or he's a lazy twat in training.
  19. They did play some good fluid football against Celtic and do look to be stepping it up a gear, I'm still going for my earlier prediction though i cant be arsed being to downbeat about are season so far now so am staying positive or mad which ever one is best suited
  20. Thats not Rooney its Brendon Gleeson from Braveheart
  21. I'd love to see him back in the EPL he was a breath of fresh air when he was at Chelsea, I cant really imagine him managing United or the shite i supose it depends on what position certain teams are in financially and so on when his contract runs its course. If we where to get bought out and i could choose the man to move us on he would be my top choice.
  22. Well im on the old heinz vegetable soup for a day or two now dont get jealous lads i know it sounds tasty, bloody dentist pinched two of my teeth :ohno01:
