  1. Any1 know if Cahill is injured or was he subbed tactically?
  2. Just wondering if any other evertonians from the north east get on this site???
  3. I wish i shared your optimism, i cant get to see many of our games as i live in the north east, i went to see us at Newcastle and we were shocking bad, ok we had a lot of players out, but our more recent games have not been much better from the reports i hear. We have to play Man City, Wigan, West Ham, Villa, Chelsea, who are all around us. and with the semi final on our minds i think we may well struggle to keep 6th, i hope im wrong. This season proves more than ever that we need moe strength in depth. without our star man (Arteta)we are very average in opinion.
  4. We are riding our luck at the moment, we should have beaten Newcastle n Blacburn, n have Boros keeper to thank for letting us back into the cup game. I think we will do well to stay 6th
  5. I was at the Newcastle game, and we were crying out for width, we had an extra man (apparently) for over half the game and Newcastle looked the more likely side to score. If he cant last a whole game, why not give him a second half to prove himself? I really dont see the point having him in the squad if Moyes has no intention of trying him, the Toon game is the typical example. You say someone else else could have provided the cross, at least he has proved in that game that he actually can create chances when noone else can. Like ive already said, why have him on the bench at all?
  6. We may be out of the cup if he hadnt appeared against the red shite. Weve dropped 4 points against the carToon army and blackburn. Osman and Gosling are both being burnt out in my opinion. So, why not give him a go, Saha and Fellaini would relish the types of cross he made for Gosling.
  7. Then why have him on the bench week after week? and not give another young kid his seat?
  8. Does any1 else think VDM should be given a last chance to start games and prove himself before he surely departs in the summer? I'm not 100% sure why DM hasnt, given how small our 1st team currently is
  9. Can surely only be Saha, we were very very poor, then Saha was brought on and we should have won by more than 1 goal. We will have our work cut out to win the cup now with how bare we are, United then probably Chelsea in the final, but who knows......... Bring em on................
  10. one word describes him............ SHITE!!!!!!!!!! Jags in midfield, Yobo/Lescott in defence, and Jacobsen a go at right back If we win our remaining home games we should be good enough to hang on to 6th and the Uefa cup for next term, barring any more injuryies
  11. Any1 got the injury news on Vic?
  12. Taking into account both form guides, we should romp this, Toon are awful at the mo and the feeling in the north east is they may well be playing in a lower league next term. 3-0, Jo hat-trick
  13. Howard, made some crucial saxes most notably from Carew, (though maybe should haxe saved their penalty)
  14. thats the thing, Kenwright is looking for investments, NOT buyers, fron his own lips, there is a big difference
  15. Im new to this forum and I dunno who the chiefs are on this forum, but is it possible to do ask every member to give a vote as to Kenwright should sell? then show the result? We are goiing to be left long behind the pack soon
  16. you think moyes would swap arteta for that prick,, come on!!!!!!!!!
  17. Ive already posted this comment but i want to again, There was Never going to be any big signings now due to the stadium shite dragging on, and looking like doubling in cost, neither now or January, trust me!!!!!! Kenwright was pinning his plans on the new stadium being approved before anything else took or takes place, which is the main reason Wyness has gone. If the stadium is eventually given the ok there will undoubtedly be new 'investors' lookin to us if you listen to Kenwrights banter, which is very likely (especially from China or the US for efc) Im fed up with Kenwrights shite, ive had enough for 1, i would much prefer new OWNERS, not investors, Kenwright please SELL NOW
  18. I hope your taking the piss mate, im freiends with a few toon fans, and they all want Barton (and Keegan by the way) out of their club, he should not be playing football in the public eye, yet alone for our club!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. Yak and Saha (if fit!!!!!!!!), that could be awesome for any defence to handle
  20. 28million budget, where did that figure come from? We still need to replace Johnson, Mcfadden, Fernandes, to name but 3 Moyes is expecting us to play 50 game this season
  21. The premiership is 100% about money now, and we aint got none.................
  22. I would love to see what Moyes could actually do with us if he was given a decent backing, sadly we may well be watching how well he is doing at Man U in a couple of years time. I have to say, even all the shit they took when they bought Man U, The Glaziers are doing a fantastic job there,
  23. Like ive said before, there are numours multi millionaires or if not billionaires with money tied to our club through LOANS, each expecting their guaranteed returns and increasing the debt we owe. I totally agree with this post, if Kenwright publicly declared his wish to sell, i would strongly fancy our chances of being snapped up. Kenwright is a true blue (apparently), but premiership football is very quickly becoming as high money earning globaly, although still nowhere near as basketball and baseball are in the US which is why so many american tycoons are looking to th premiership. EFC even thou very high in debt seeminly, would surely be a great assett to any tycoon, with their global fan count. Surely we would be better off without Kenwrights on going loan hunting, debt building plans, hoping the new stadium will attract more investors (or shall i say more multi millionaire loan lenders). As posted previously, Kenwright wants to be seen as the face of EFC, but at what price for the club. Barry Hearn has publically said that he is more than happy to plod along at Leyton Orient cos he loves his club, Kenwright may well be taking us to play them the way things are going. I personally hope we can compete at the highest level, and the only way that seems possible is with new owners.
