About right I'd say.
Can't think of any alterations needed. I suppose because its the Echo they are less likely to be biased either way.
-
Gosh.
It's banter and it goes both ways.
These stories are ridiculous. I hope they are okay.
-
In an ideal world all football league clubs would survive.
My Scottish team (Where I used to live) Livingston are close to folding.. I hope we have a petition somewhere.
-
I really hope they get relegated next year.
-
Good luck Everton. Pretty much all Reds are behind ya on this one especially after the brilliant support for the Hillsborough Justice Campaign this year.
Although the fact that you are playing Chelsea may also have something to do with it.
-
I think it goes without saying that I hope Man Utd get thrashed. I honestly would cry with happiness if they got thrashed tonight.
It won't happen but oh well.

Hi stranger
Been on hols ?
Nah. I just don't post on the Everton forum very much.
Although I will be on hols in a few weeks.
A quick stop at Merseyside as well to see some of the family (a few of whom are Evertonians). I'm sure I'll get a fair bit of abuse...

Just beautiful..... Watching MOTD and seeing Hansen and Lawrenson have to suck the bitter pill and praise United. Quality... Hansen is such a sour faced twat anyway!
Lawro is the biggest Manc lover of all.
Anyway.
Congrats to Man Utd. The best side won the title unfortunately.
Like Rafa, however, I've been disgusted by the behaviour of SAF this season.
-
Liked their Keegan era team but I'm not too bothered about them.
Then again...if the Evertonians hate em then maybe I shouldn't mind them so much.
-
Glad you had a good birthday.
You are the only other red on here after all.

"Proved Rafa wrong"
Umm, how?
Rafa said that Everton are a smaller club.
Which they still are.
So...uhh, no you've not.
-
For the sake of Scottish football it would be a very good thing. I'm not sure the English would it see it the same way.
Being a Liverpool fan in a sea of Celtic/Rangers fans it would certainly be nice to rub some victories in their noses.
-
We've got to love you SR, nice one
I can only see it how it is.
Jagielka, sadly, was outstanding in those two games in particular and for much of the year as well.
-
SR what you say about Hillsborough is the truth and I'm certain that these new documents will reveal damaging evidence concerning both the police and politicians of the day. That said I wish your club would also remember those that died at Heysel..............and I don't accept for one second that any one other than Liverpool supporters were responsible and no police records or witnesses can substantiate the urban myth that 'it wasn't us guv'
I'm just saying I'm not entirely convinced. I won't make a big thing out of it though because not believing evidence is what a lot of silly fans do when it comes to Hillsborough.
They were both very sad days, that's for sure.

Hey Scottish, I'm sorry, I didn't mean/want to take anything from your post. I hope I didn't!
Haha, not at all.

just like to say there was a disaster in africa it hardley got a mention....hillsborough there were people at fault on both sides....supporters....police..and most of all the fencing no fencing would have reduced the casualtys significantly.
The fans weren't at all at blame for Hillsborough. That's a myth perpetrated by the rag and other sources.
The disaster was down to lack of police control full stop. I would have thought that Evertonians would be the most clued up of opposing supporters.
It was nothing like Heysel which I personally even to this day believe wasn't just down to Liverpool fans. My Dad lived in London and his neighbours, Chelsea fans were organising a trip to Turin to cause trouble.
That's not to pass the blame but Heysel and Hillsborough were completely different anyway.

It's a load of crap.
VDS is about the fifth best keeper in the premiership - he had a decent run which was largely down his defence but player of the year?
Giggs got a nomination because he is old.
Ferdinand has relied on Vidic a hell of a lot and been injured for ages.
Gerrard hasn't even been our best player this year, Alonso has.
And if Vidic gets in what about Jagielka from your lot? To be fair the latter had Torres in his pocket. The former was ripped to shreds.

Brilliant support for the 96 not only at the memorial service but also against Villa and United at Wembley.
I really hope you beat the Chavs in the final!
(Believe me, it's more because of who you are playing )
-
Just got back from Anfield myself. Liverpudlians red and blue were all affected by the disaster.
Thankyou greatly for the sentiment.
-
We won't come back from 3 away goals, let's be realistic.
I'm just relieved are inevitable blip came in the CL.
-
Come on the Rovers.
-
doubles mean nothing... its winning the trophy that counts so comeback when you lot have won someting
That wasn't your argument though.
<_<

1. Ronaldo
2. Gerrard
3. Terry
4. Torres
5. Vidic
6. Essien
7. Lampard
8. Fabregas
9. Rooney
10. Mascherano
Incredibly biased of course.

Stevie's been immense but I'd argue that he's not even been Liverpool's best player this year. That accolade goes to Xabi Alonso who proved why we don't need a certain Gareth Barry.
Although if a Liverpool player does win it then it will probably be Stevie.
Finishing Top 4
in General Everton Discussion
Posted
Sorry, couldn't help it.
I think you'll definitely finish at least 5th again but no higher than 4th. Everton just don't have the depth.
