Why did I become a blue?

Because they are playing Manchester United in the FA Cup Semi Final.

I'll probably be the type of fan that boos my own team mind.

Having said that, I could so easily be a blue. My Gran's an Evertonian (to annoy the rest of the family who are reds) and tried to bring them up as such with much bickering with Grandad (or Nain and Taid as they are Welsh).

One one famous occasion (The 1971 Cup Final) my Dad (in his teens) and all his brothers were crying because of Charlie George turning the game round. My gran comes in and howls with laughter. Talk about being a supportive mother!

My Dad made sure my Mother was educated proper when they brought me up!

I think they will win the Champs league yet again this season .

 

As for the contract , it means very little these days . Rafa currently runs the show , but one bad season and he will be out I think .

Scottish must be gutted . I reckon he fancied his chances of being the next boss

Well I won the league first season on Champ Manager.

i didnt say the RS deserved it and i am not happy for them.

 

The Mancs had much more of possession with the ball and created chances but couldnt finish off.

 

The RS created nothing and scored goals through the mancs defensive mistakes.

 

If Vidic didnt have an off day and VDS did actually try something then RS would have scored 0 goals and would be on the back foot throughout the whole game

And their goal came from a Liverpool mistake.

So blooming what. That's football. I know you are just being a wind up but 4-1 is about as conclusive as it comes.

We could win 10-0 and you wouldn't give us credit. Does the fact that we've just put 8 goals past Real Madrid and Manchester United mean nothing? Can you imagine that having 10, even 5 years ago? We've done the double over Man United, Madrid and Chelsea. That's something to be proud of.

Doesn't it worry you? Obviously worries the people writing up his new contract as sole reponsibility for transfer policy seems to be the sticking point . Given the facts I'm not surprised .

I read an interesting article by Tomkins recently.

Whilst we've signed a lot of players a lot of them have been the cheap alternative to a player Parry wouldn't go for.

We do NOT have the most expensive team in the league by a long margin.

Allardyce is a tool.

Hopefully with Parry gone we can finally buy the players we need.

Vidic, Diaby and Malouda were all possibilities if it wasn't for Parry. Even Christina Ronaldo was a possibility years and years ago.

According to a strong whisper on TIA we may have had Villa on his way last year before Parry pulled out because of the money...

On another note, im fully behind supporting my country (unlike the kopites who seem to think they are now spanish...) but ffs we are awful. We actually are the most over rated team to ever grace the international pitch imo, the team do not try hard enough like they do for clubs, lampard, gerrard and terry being the main culprets imo. The 6 nations rugby game today, the national anthems where being absolutly screamed out by the squads, and i mean they gave it beans! The footballers? most mime, others dont sing at all then you get one who sings along quitetly. No pride at all.

Capello - drop these people who will not try, call up players who will give it there all to win on the international level and get some pride back in english football.

Pah, England should get their own anthem. Even if I was English I wouldn't belt out the British anthem for England.

And nobody cares for the England football team because of the way they treat and respect the Liverpool players (not at all).

Carra's interview couldn't have said it better. I'm not originally Scottish but I get more peed off with the England team by the day. The way SSN dressed round their loss was ridiculous. The big news was Beck's 108th cap, not that they'd lost.

Spain is bad for racism and I would be surprised if there wasn't any tonight. It's sad when its like that, the days of racism have gone and to have a nation that is still for it is bad, Spain need to realise what they are doing is wrong and the only reason of making them realise is by punishing them. It's not the minority anymore its wide-spread. They should be thrown out of future competitions and fined heavily. Mike made some good points on how to deal with it.

 

Walking off the pitch won't do anything. We should just get on with our own game and focus on the win, UEFA need to step in and make the big decision.

 

It's not just in football either, remember this at the Formula One? Blatent racism.

Liverpool are a decent side again since Rafa came , and have won some trophies under him .

You are still in with a shout of the league and Europe . What more do you guys want ? Seems to me your supporters are a little ungrateful . Either accept his decisions and have faith in the guy , to do things his way , or sack him . Putting him under pressure , when you're having a kick ass season so far is a bit daft .

He's made a few mistakes , just like all the others , but stick by your manager for once . I'm surprised he didn't tell Liverpool to do one a long time ago .

I'm personally behind him 100% but I can see why he's getting on some people's nerves.

Some of his decisions are baffling and down to pure pride - such as selling Keane without signing another striker. If Torres get's injured we are royally ******.

Plus some of his interviews at the moment are pathetic. It might be because of his operation and he may be under a lot of stress but perhaps a lot of it is self-inflicted.
