  1. thinking back i remember feeling gutted when he left.now looking back at what we achieved last season without him and getting over 10 million for him do you think it turned out as a great deal for us in the end?he never gets a mention for England now. interested in other peoples views on this.

  2. What would you prefer?

i have always felt part of the family at Everton, allthough i love my country.i have never felt the same about the England team dont know if this is because England over the years apart from when they played in the North due to wembley being rebuilt they have played in London, and felt a bit detached from it ,but in the end Family comes first, so its Everton for me by a whisker.

  3. why should we bail them out? our identity is everything we stand for.asnd trust me they would shaft us big time.we would end up the poor relations offer them a groundshare at kirkby we could charge them a massive rent and then fuck them off and leave them homeless

  4. Should we sign both of them?thought we would have found out by now. i know they are away with there countries maybe thats the reason for the delay. would defo keep jacobsen, but not sure of castillo think he is a decent player extend his loan for another year if possible, could be a good solution

Eh why should I accept that, I did not want to pay Moyes over £4 mil a year because this may just surprise you, we can't afford it under the present regime, resurrect that thread if you want it doesn't bother me in the least and by the way you still haven't explained why the team picked up as soon as the contract was signed, there again you might not have read that as you seem to ignore the players totally as you do the point of this argument.

PLEASE read the abuse you wrote about moyes or are you embarrassed just accept you were wrong and move on go back to the start of the season and look at the team sheets injuries ,when new signings came in etc its that complicated to work out !! i ignore the players you say so do i go every week to just wave to moyes get a life i give up

  6. Yes I did if he walked, caswe reopened as others on here would have Irvine, you know the no mark who took Preston to the play offs, and you think he is a bad manager, ask Moyes what he thinks of him you just may get a shock

just admit you wanted moyes out! read your old posts please!!! alan irvine is decent manager but not in the same league as moysie! accept it

  7. MOYES OUT !

have a look back at posts at the start of the season and some people were saying moyes did not know what hes doing get rid etc read some old posts and have a laugh, we should post some of the best ones some people will look rather silly though ,maybe we should name and shame, them keep up the witty posts taxi!

  8. Moyes not signing his contract at the start of the season was the reason for the blip, as i'm sure they players wern't sure what was happening an nor were the fans.

having no money at the start of the season caused the blip not Moyes

  9. Nice post Carl but I would also point out that we did not start playing this season until Moyes got his new contract which has a left a question mark about him in my mind. As taxi says the players do deserve plaudits as well, look at our performances when Tim Cahill is missing, he is also very capable of lifting team moral. IMO Billy Boy also deserves a big cheer as he has found money to spend and suffered some horrendous insults from fans who should know better, those same fans then moan why the club can't find a buyer..........................is it that surprising?

David Moyes suffered a lot of insults, have a look back at some of the posts relating to, is Moyes worth 2.5 million a year insults from fans who should know better and then revel in having a great season pot calling kettle black imo!

  10. I would say that the FA cup final was Hibbert and Osmans biggest ever game, neither are internationals and whilst a few other Everton players were possibly the same maybe, just maybe it got to those two more.Hibbert shouldn't have been booked, and he knew the risks that went with that, ie another wrong or right yellow and he was off!He probaly knew Chelsea were going to bomb down his wing.....and from what I saw he lost it a bit, legs just went! Could make him stronger in the long run? and I wouldn't want him to leave the club.Same with Ossman scored two great goals at Fulham the other week and gave them all kinds of trouble. We know we need a bigger squad and to get rid of two local boys, who probably aren't exactly the big earners would be crazy......they will both I hope play a big part in an even better season ahead of us.

The dust has settled from Wembly now, and the people who were proud of the lads and rightly so will now start wondering why we didn't play better, didn't put up more of a fight.....didn't win!

I hope they look way beyond just Osman and Hibbert.

    agree fully good comments

  11. have nothing but respect for them both, and ive always been a fan of hibbos tough tackling style (which seems to have been lost in recent times) and osmans ability to unlock defences with a shuffle of his feet (again, lost in recent times and frustrating as we know what he can do)

but to move on they are the next ones to be replaced.

moyes way has always been to slowly replace player for player with more quality. they must be next.

who would you like to replace them. bearing in mind we could not afford massive money?

  12. Wouldn't disagree with a lot of that and I've a lot of time for both of them, Ossie in particular. But you'd need to be very short-sighted not to acknowledge that they are two of the weaker links when we play the top teams.

I wouldn't sell them, decent squad players but if we're going to move on we need quality all over the pitch.

Agree with you they are both good squad players but they do not deserve to be singled out for the defeat on SaturdaY Moyes knows there are better players he could buy but we dont have the money so we have to do the best we can with what we have

  13. There seems to be a lot of stick for these two players which i feel is undeserved.Osman and hibbert and have both completed close on 170 appearances. bad players dont play this amount of games if they are rubbish. also both players came through the ranks and cost us nothing. they are Everton through and through and give everything for Everton they have both made a massive contribution in helping us finish in Europe and getting to the cup final.I know they are not top class but they have my respect and hope that they both end there careers with us. i know i am probably in the minority . but well done Leon and Tony and thank you for your efforts this season

  14. a couple of qoutes from a fantastic article in the mirror "Neville is the personification of dedication to football" " His victory yesterday was for the old fashioned virtues of english football, it was a victory not for superstars but for everyman" i salute you Phil Neville! and to you and the rest of the team THANK YOU we are much more than just a football club we are a true family! The players, the fans, the backroom staff, and most of all the manager, we are as ONE! WE ARE THE TRUE PEOPLES CLUB WE ARE EVERTON AND SO VERY PROUD OF YOU ALL THANK YOU :D:):):):):)
