  1. i am starting to get fed up with this tag of hard working everton,we are now playing skillfull football all across the park but we do not seem to get the credit we deserve ,yes we do work hard ,so do all the top sides but i would now say we are playing really good entertaining football and i think the team should be recognised by the press we have arteta pienar baines cahill Jô osman etc top class quality footballers who spread the ball around really well i just want people to praise this now and again COYB :D:D:D

  2. i had an open mind on moving from goodison but after wednesday, no new stadium, could generate such passion and atmosphere,it was awesome, it is now unique and we have to preserve it.it is truly a special place, there is not another ground left in the premiership that can generate such emotion,i think we have to accept that goodison is our spiritual home improve it,preserve it, keep it. a magical stadium,a truly special place which i think brings us all together as one. COYB :D:D:D

  3. After seeing Nevilles tackle on Saturday and the way it lifted us all in the ground at the time it was as good as scoring a goal .It made me realise that sort of tackle was seen a couple of times every game years ago and Football is now virtually a non contact sport i think the game needs tackling, hard but fair it adds to the atmosphere at the game. For Neville to be booked was a disgrace and also the reaction of the Man u players was wrong. Lets get back to it being a contact sport again, will be interested in supporters opinions on this

  4. I'll respond to this in a language you can understand - Fk off you mindless bitter twat - I asked for a source not imaginary characters!

instead of coming on here spouting off, why dont you get on your own shite web sites and find out when your new ground is getting built, or is that just a rumour that our american friends have no money????

  5. Its all well and good but I can't see how we could afford him with the shite budget we are running on.

I would like him here but a winger is still a priority. I still wish that Obfimma's work permit had been granted. Does anyone know if he's been playing for Nigeria in there recent games?

Obfimmas scored for Nigeria on Saturday

  6. My view is the manager should concentrate solely on the team, and have the final say on all team and transfer issues anyway, being on the board might sound good, but whether it would help i do not think so. I cannot see Roman taking much notice of anyone on the board anyway at Chelsea. I think Moyes has enough on his plate being manager, instead of attending board meetings, i would rather he was working on tactics for the next game

  7. I remember going to matches and hearing the same sort of abuse that jimmy the blue and some others are directing at Moyes, non stop game after game, it sickened me then and it sickens me now, constructive criticism yes, but this sort of abuse no, he has hardly got us relegated has he?Jimmy you say i have blind faith but having laid out £1400 for season tickets i go along to the game hoping to win, otherwise what is the point. I know things are not great , but i am willing to give the manager my full support. The season has only just started and for what he has done for us since he came i think we owe him that, By the way the matches i refer to at the start were when Howard Kendall was manager and how stupid he made the boo-boy mob look when we started lifting trophies and surely that is a lesson in itself patience can pay off COYB

  8. That is a prime example of what I have been saying, he is overrated, that Emperor has no clothes. What has he done, what has won, whenever we get to a big game we flop. Look at our record against the so called big four, it a bloody joke, Phil Brown takes Hull to Highbury once and wins. He is not the big winner you lot make him out to be. wow we've won qualification for Europe three times getting pushed out in the first round twice. We made a semi final of the Carling cup and gave in against Chelsea. Moyes has had more money to spend than the majority of managers in the Prem so that excuse doesn't wash either and as for tactics, predictable in the extreme. Some supporters see fit to moan about Fellaini, I think he could make it but was he worth £15 mil, was he fuck but who spent it, Mr fucking Moyes.

Jim your posts are becoming erratic, they are like demented rantings and are not far off being offensive, fifth in the premiership and the four teams above us how much did they spend?it was a great effort by Moyes and the team whether you like it or not.you cannot be right all the time Jim,and there are other intelligent people on here who have a point of view and a right to challenge your opinions.

  9. Please prove to me that 10k extra matchgoes carnt bring in 10mil

    on my workings

    10000 x £30

    22 games maybe / season thats = 6.6mil

    leaving 200k / game shortfall on 10mil

each person spending £20 while at the game

not thats quick and 20 quid spend per peron at the game is excesive........ but there is noooo way the match tickets would be £30 at a new ground.....

just £5 on that makes a total matchday ticket revenue around £7.7

anyone can add up and take away... the thing here is marketing.....Marketing specialists would give you a fairly good spend / head average....

My main point is do we all think we could get 10,000 more supporters every week,if so were are they coming from?
  10. This "masterplan" as worshiper put it is exactly what im looking to see.... Any idiot can pull up huge land spaces on google maps and plonk Goodison park on it.....

Isnt that exactly what Wyness did. ??

I agree with that, but several things have come to light since the early days which the club cannot dispute.

Didnt this start off as a Deal of the Century, a stadium that was only going to cost 20 million with a gift of 50 million from Tesco, who have since said that the 50 million was to buy the land for the tesco store, but you can have some of it to build your stadium on if you help us get permission to build our store, it seems to me that tesco were only looking after their own interests and using EFC solely for that purpose, and being in the mess we are in, they jumped in with Both feet.

Now theres talk of it costing 78 million, so again you should ask yourself 78 MILLION for a football stadium, :o i dont think so, more like £278 million for a half decent stadium so we would have obviously had to mortgage ourselves up to the neck to borrow that, as if we are'nt deep enough in debt already.

"We can all discuss the financials of this move untill the cows come home but to be honest none of us has a clue".

If your financial knowledge is not good enough to see that a stadium increase of only 10.000 people cant bring in the extra 10 million pounds that EFC claimed it would , then i suggest you keep a close eye on your bank balance mate, cos some people could be milking you dry and you wouldnt have a clue. :)

The problem i find with it all is were are these extra 10,000 fans coming from?we are down on last seasons attendances, but even last season when we were playing well,we were not selling out every game i just dont think anyone has answered this question properly, i also have an open mind on the issue of moving to a new ground.there was an article in the papers over the weekend which stated that Man U had not sold out of all there corporate seating for over 2 years which we need to bear in mind .there is no guarantee of selling all these expensive seats, you need really good marketing which im not convinced we have

  11. then the same can be said for fellaini, he was a risk, cost more than manny, manny spoke the language and already knew the system we played, no other club came in for fellaini too. any player is a risk.

not gettin on fellainis case there, just a comparison.

fair point,it is just Manny did have a good chance to impress but i dont think he fully grasped, it the other thing against him was possibly his size,Moyes did say we were short of a bigger physical presence in the midfield area, maybe that went against him.Only time will tell on this one

  12. After this pathetic start to the season, our managers continued contractual dispute and on going rumours about the club is going into foreign ownership have we become a club in crisis :o

IMO we are bordering on that now if not already there, another couple of defeats and we will be as what confidence is left in the players and the fans will have dissipated completely, especially if those defeats are heavy (Utd and Arsenal are up next by the way).

Assuming the worst happens what do we do then apart from panic and what blame does the manager take in all of this?

Assuming the BEST happens what do we do then apart from CELEBRATING and what PRAISE does the manager take in all this. The difference is i want the best to happen,i get the feeling because of your persecution of Moyes you would like the worst to happen which is quite sad really. im sorry but im going to watch my team play Man u and support them hoping that we will beat them, not get a heavy defeat them, that is what a supporter does supports his team !!!!!!!
