  1. Good games for Felli, Coleman, Jelavic, and of course Barkley.

Jela seemed to be much more confident, keeping possession was overall more composed.

Felli ran everywhere and If he ends of leaving I think we will end up really missing him...

Barkley just did everything right. All the passes were the right ones, great touch, and not a bad shot :P

Coleman had a good game on the flank, feel like sometimes he is lacking as much help as the left side gets. Was also solid defensively

  2. Defensive options:

CB - Toby Alderweireld - £6m (starting XI)

DM/CB - Marrone - £8m (needs time, potential WC player)

CDM - Nathaniel Chalobah - £6m (Less than 12 months on contract & English)

CB - Cheikhou Kouyate - £4m (Less than 12 months on contract)

    Attacking Options:

AM - Dennis Praet - £15m (potential WC player)

    AM/PM - Hiroshi Kiyotake - £12 (potential WC player)

    CM/PM - Tonny Vilhena - £15m (potential WC player)

ST - Abel Hernandez - £9m (player I've wanted at Everton for years)

ST - Luc Castaignos - £8m (wish we bagged him from Inter)

    AM/AW - Antoine Griezmann - £16m - (potential WC player)

    My options.

Why are you getting me so excited :(

I think we should accept at 45 mil.

Then room to buy 3-4 great players :)

    Champions league here we come!

  3. Glad that they played here and I had a chance to go :)

Great game, gibbo and felli seemed to have a hard time with the system but overall a great performance.

Plenty of Everton support also which was great to see

  4. Anyone considering we can actually play Deulofeu as striker? That sounds like a very exciting prospect and I would prefer his creativity up there.

    Robles/Howard

    Coleman-Jags-Duffy/Alcaraz- Baines

    -------Gibbo-Fellaini------------

    Mirallas-Barkley-Pienaar

    ---------Deulofeu

Also, would prefer to ease Distin out because he is getting old.

  5. David Moyes spent a decade with this club doing some absolutely fantastic things despite spending very little money. Roberto Martinez has not so much as managed a friendly match.

Let's wait a little bit before we start comparing.

Well said. He signed 3 players from his old team that he didn't need to research on and having a good relationship with their chairman for 1, one on free (remember when naismith was signed?), and the other probably was easier because the player knowing him wanted to come. For the final signing other teams had already gone for him and going later would mean we might not get him plus people has said it was a very cheap loan deal so not much negotiating needed.

Odd comparing it really, each manager has his style. Martinez hasn't had a wheel and deal yet so we might end up with our marquee signing being signed last day of the season as Martinez tries to negotiate as much as possible.

People really like to get ahead of themselves.
