He played in the game, number 18. Watched it for 10 mins earlier. Definitely him (very recognisable with the hair!)

What about those who don't know the score and don't want to know the score till after MOTD?
12-7

What does Martinez' good first season have to do with Koeman and his development of youth?
I completely misread Cornish' post. My bad!
Must start reading properly.
Have a neg. Because...I can.
-
You mean it might have been a little unfair to judge him at the very beginning? Shock. Horror .
In fairness, we had a very successful full season under Martinez, let's see how Koeman does after spending over £100m on the squad

I think the LB was representing your username - London Blue!
Ah, now all becomes clear!
-
This is how I feel watching him play.
Love the guy already.
Great in the air. Great at reading the game. Strong. Deceptively quick.
Now get VVD and that's a central partnership to behold!!

Class. Buying highly sought after players, extending the talent pools of our youth team.
Exciting.

There's some vault material in here, choosing not to though

It's honestly a steal. He'd be the perfect replacement for Baines.
I've said it for a few years. Think he's a very good player. Already vastly experienced for his age, got a great engine and he's a very good crosser. Old school style with modern athletic build, he'll be seen as a "non-exciting buy" by their fans but he could be there for many many years IMO.

Just did a bit of searching.
It seems the FFP rules were relaxed in 2015 to allow teams a window of accelerated spending so long as they can show they have a sustainable business model and are not 'gambling on success'. This was intended to make sure European football carried on getting investment.
I'm not sure why Everton are being used as an example, as all we have done is spend what we have brought in.
Exactly (and hopefully, only so far). In fairness, we're not a great example at present.

Good. Bidding war please.
-
He's a winger predominately.
-
Well worth that.

Worst thing is, West Ham will start thinking they are big time again by signing the England goalkeeper. Fucking muppets.
Won't be the case now he's joined an non top 6 team.
-
Good little read that, I didn't realise they have relaxed the FFP laws. Needs binning off completely.
That surprised me as well. Haven't heard anything about the changes at all.

Spoiler alert. Mark you dick...
-
I was coming on to post that.
Don't think his agent is all there.
Ross, you're an idiot mate. Get real.
-
Juve clearly Shick of this shit.
-
I think the C.F. signing will be the Pelle (Giroud, Dzeko etc).
Think Rooney, Sandro and Klaassen will occupy the side options personaly.

Breakout star of next season....
-
we've netted 6.8m so far this summer even with all these signings which is pretty amazing. the great news is pickford, keane, rooney, are all known quantities in the prem. klaassen and sandro are the only 2 first teamers that are unknown. pretty good compared to how spurs spent the bale money (most were from foreign leagues).
This cannot be overstated enough. Proven quality costs but aren't "gambles" like others have made.
Mane is a good example. Cost a lot of money, but proven in the league that he performs. Worthy investment.

If they do go for Kovacic, almost certainly won't go for Ross as well.
