  1. yeah read that earlier, what i didnt get though was it says there both back, but when you read on about pienaar he says "I would though expect him to be there or thereabouts for the Wolves game" Which means there could still be a doubt over his involvement in the game. Its not the first time i read a headline and the story inside is slightly different haha

  2. This was a digital record label i set up myself to promote some tunes a while ago before i was signed to ministry of sound -

The music, or the genre i work in to be more specific, is predominately made for teens. It was something i could make so i did, im in the process of creating a more "housey" sound which i can direct towards a more adult market if that makes sense. Any how enough of that, i could bore you guys forever!!

  3. Not sure if you are aware but when i first started on this forum i let you guys know i am a music producer in the dance scene, and i just thought i would let you know of one of my tracks which has just been released nationwide on the ever reliable album "Big Tunes"

I work under the name Bass Force, and my track is cd 1 track 15

    For anyone remotely interested !

  4. i'm going to say heitinga as i thought that was his best game so far for us. Looked good coming out of defence with the ball, and he done that quite alot too, knitted play well for us wether it be from defence to midfield or as someone else mentioned his longer pumps up field were quite accurate also. Didnt look to bad defensively, and got stuck into a strong stoke team too

  5. Man of the Match is was supposed to be, good spot.

i thought it meant man of the half haha

As for the yak. i dont mind him occasionally tracking back, hes never been the type of player to want to be in both boxes, hes a typical striker, who wants the ball and who knows where the back of the net is. We should have at least one player with that mentality, because he can get you a goal from nothing at times

  6. I think the only way we're going to score is from a set-piece because there will be no creativity in that side. Not looking forward to watching us lump the ball up for 90 minutes :(.

stay positive mate, we fare pretty well in europe, fellaini should have a good game as it will be at his pace, will be a hard game id imagine, but a game were still well capable of winning

  7.

What are your expectations for the season?

I would hope our team has enough quality to push for a top 6 finish, i would like to see us back in europe as ive grown to enjoy are time in this competition. A decent cup run in whatever cup is a priority to me also. The way the likes of city, aston villa, spurs have improved for this season, makes it even harder for us to maintain our top 5 finishes of seasons past. So fingers crossed are lads dig in deep once again and we get our rewards!

Who are your most famous fans?

Sylvester Stallone, Sir Paul McCartney, Matt dawson, Amanda Holden, John Parrott and many more!

Any places you reccomend for our travelling support to have a few drinks/ anywhere that should be avoided?

Theres a few pubs you could go too before the game, i wouldnt necassarily avoid any of them either, were mostly friendly down here apart from the odd few. I couldnt say from an away fans perspective where to go, as i drink in most of the pubs around goodison and county road, so i would just say, if you like the look of a particular pub try your hand and go in :)

What team are you likely to put out against us?

I think we have just started to find a team we could field in most games now. This though has taken a blow with the injury of Steven Pienaar, which you guys will be happy to know, as he has been on top form the last few weeks.

The most probable team would be,

    Tim Howard

    Heitina - Yobo - Distin - Baines

    Osman - Rodwell - Cahill - Fellaini - Bilyletidnov

    Saha

Unless Moyes feels the Yak is ready for a start, other than that, i would think this would be the setout of the team this sunday.

As a home fan, who would you say is your most dangerous player, that the opposition should look out for?

At the moment its got to be Louis Saha, he is on fire! 7 goals in 7 games speaks for itself, and im unsure this season who has actually bettererd that apart from a certain spaniard across stanley park! A lot of opposition fans in the past normally mark, Cahill, as our most dangerous threat, however, if i was stoke on sunday, i would defintely watch every movement saha makes, because as mentioned, give him a sniff of goal and he will make your team pay!

Any guesses on what you think the score will be?

I don't want to sound overly confident, but i still think without pienaar our team will still have enough creative threat to win this match, therefore i will say 2-0 (Saha - Osman)

Good luck for the match anyhow, and i hope you pack your away end as i love goodison when we have full away support!

  8. I cant go along with that. He had a poor game full stop it was nothing to do with Osman

When he let the Pompey player get in a free header ( the one that hit Howard in the shoulder) was that Osmans fault?

When he moved into CM he was just as bad

I AGREE, HEITINGA WAS REALLY REALLY POOR, A FEW TIMES WHEN HE WAS AT FULL BACK HE GOT TURNED INSIDE OUT WITH THE EASIEST OF TURNS, AND WHEN HE PLAYED IN MIDFIELD, THERE WAS A PARTICULAR TIME WERE THE WORST 1 2 WAS PLAYED AND IT TOOK HIM CLEAN OUT THE GAME, I KNOW HE NEEDS TO GET USED TO THE PACE BUT HES A HOLLAND INTERNATIONAL, NEEDS TO PULL HIS SOCKS UP :)

APOLOGIES FOR THE CAPS LOCK IVE ONLY JUST NOTICED :(

  9. That is one hell of a rumour to start.

I wonder what the chants will be from the terraces....... although I can guess. ;)

    haha!

I wouldnt even call it a rumour mate, were talking about my sisters best mate who wouldnt churn out a story like this for no reason ! haha

  10. hes been great i think hes more of a leader at the back than lescott is and thats always useful to have...the only thing lescott has is he is a bit quicker and his age but i really think there isnt much else

although lescott is a good few yrs younger than distin i think distin is as fast if not quicker than lescott. Summed it up for me the other night when i seen them play at hull, there was a ball that hulls striker was odds on to get, distin come out of knowhere and i remember saying to a mate i went with, did you see how quick distin got to the ball, and he agreed, he has quick speed, which he can utilise straight away, not one of these players that has to build a momentum up to get in a stride, its as though he can hit top speed as soon as he runs, i like that in a defender, he can snuff danger out asap then

  11. howard is way better than myhre and gerrard!

I think howard is a really good keeper, one of the better keepers we have had in recent times..

My only concern, well i have 2,

first one being as someone noted earlier, he doesnt like to come for the ball when its hanging around the box, he assumes the defender will clear it, and then this causes confusion, it has done loads of times.

Secondly i dont think his positional sense from shots 25 yards plus is that good, he needs to work on that.

I do hold him in high regards though, plus he loves playing for everton, another player i respect fully.

    :D

  12. Great ambassador for Everton and i really like Neville, he's impressed me a hell of a lot since he moved. His family are part of the club now aswel, and he himself admits he's more blue than red. I think its going to be really hard for him to get back in the starting 11, but we need someone like him to pick it up in the dressing room, on the pitch through injury time and at training sessions when things arent going our way.

The lads love him at Everton, its evident, they all respect him and hold him in high regards. The 'neville interupts Heitinga interview' proves that he's one of the lads, likes a joke, keeps morals high and is an easy guy to get on with (that can be denoted through Heitingas reaction).

I hope he can finish his footballing career at Everton, i really do and hopefully there maybe coaching or management role doors opening for him in the future.

Its sad to say, but he will struggle to get first team based on the quality we now have in the squad, saying that his heart opitimises EFC and i for one, would still love to see him fully fit in our squad!

    very well said

  13. Its funny, different sources claim different things. Some say Pienaar and Yobo have been declared fit, others say not. Some say Bilyaletdinov, is struggling and unlikely to play, others havent mentioned him at all. So i personaly think Pienaar and Yobo are fit, Bily's 50/50 and Yak's a no.

the os says pienaar and yobo are going to be last minute decisons, i dont think yak will play,as i cant see them wanting to tamper with his comeback too much, when we have loius and jo ready to play, not sure whats going on with billy though? I didnt hear that he was unfit for this game?

    heres the o/s story
