  3. What going on - he should have been on his high horse down the M62.
  4. Not sure we need any more - maybe another Midfielder. IM looking forward to next season our squad has a more balanced look to it this year - and were not even into the transfer market scramble that us Everton fans have to sit through each year. I hope none of our established players leave the club - if we get a good start it could be a fantastic season, and looking at the fixtures anything is possible.
  5. True it could have been - although I thought he would have been at Leeds or Shef Wed by now.
  6. Can't say anymore on this as the above two posts have it spot on - it would have been a bouns not to face Figo - but IM sure we can still do it . Although I did say we would lose on pens on another thread - I have changed my mind, England to win 2 -1 .
  7. Nice - MECA AJ - Johnsisco BT - Jamaldo
  8. Never liked him from the moment he disallowed the goal in the derby - Sander Westervelt took a goal kick- it hit a player and went in the net - nothing wrong with it.
  9. Stubbs and weir will still be at Goodison next season - why. Yobo must be going - why would we keep 4 defenders. Plus we have that young lad - Mark Hughes almost ready for the top flight/back up. And why the delay on the squad numbers, I fear something is going on behind the walls at Goodison.
  10. Will only visit if you stick TT in your links section and remove Bluekipper. Haa Only plulling yor pug - nice site you have there.
  11. Club American To Face Everton at Pizza Hut Park 28/06/06 FC Dallas announced today that Club America, one of the top teams in the Mexican First Division, will play Everton FC of the English Premier League in an exhibition game at Pizza Hut Park on Saturday, July 29. The game will be part of a double-header which will also feature FC Dallas taking on the Colorado Rapids in a regular season game that begins at 6:00 p.m. CT. Club America, which as winners of the 2006 CONCACAF Champions Cup will participate in the FIFA World Club Championships in December, is led by head coach Luis Fernando Tena. The 14-time Mexican league champions feature a talented roster that includes some of Mexico’s most talented players including Cuauhtémoc Blanco and Mexican World Cup members Guillermo Ochoa, Pavel Pardo and José Antonio Castro. The club also includes international players such as Claudio Lopez and Matias Vuoso (Argentina) and Salvador Cabañas and Nelson Cuevas, members of the Paraguay team that participated in the 2006 World Cup. Everton FC, which has over 100 seasons in the top flight of English soccer, is lead by head coach David Moyes. Known as the “Toffees” or the “Blues”, the Liverpool-based club brings a roster that includes United States National Team goalkeeper Tim Howard, who joined the team on loan from Manchester United during the off season. While Howard did not see action for the U.S. at the 2006 World Cup, midfielder Tim Cahill played in all four of Australia’s games in Germany. In June, Everton acquired English forward Andrew Johnson - who scored 21 goals for Crystal Palace last season - for a club record 8.6 million pounds. Chris Woods, who played 23 games in goal for the Colorado Rapids in the inaugural 1996 season, is the goalkeeper coach for the Toffees. The two teams last met on August 1, 2004, with Club America winning 3-1 in an exhibition game played in Houston, Texas. Club America will become the 10th Mexican First Division team to play at Pizza Hut Park since the stadium opened in August of 2005. In January of this year, Pizza Hut Park was a venue for the InterLiga Tournament that featured eight Mexican clubs in two doubleheaders and drew over 30,000 fans. Veracruz, Monterrey, Pachuca, Morelia, Necaxa, Cruz Azul, Chivas de Guadalajara, and Tigres participated in the tournament. In March, FC Dallas wrapped up its preseason with a game against Club Atlas. Also in March, the Mexican National team played the Ghana National team at the stadium in a World Cup warm-up game. Everton FC becomes the first full team from the prestigious English Premier League (EPL) to play at Pizza Hut Park. The U-19 teams of fellow EPL teams Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers FC participated in the Super Group of Dr Pepper Dallas Cup which was held at the complex in April. Club America will be the second Mexican club playing at the stadium this summer. On July 19, Tigres returns to Pizza Hut Park to face FC Dallas in the first leg of the inaugural Rio Grande Plate, a home and home competition in which the return leg is played on July 26 in Monterrey, Mexico. Group tickets for the July 29 doubleheader range from $23-$55 while individual tickets range from $28-$60. FC Dallas season ticket holders should use their original tickets. Pre-sale tickets are available from today through Monday for fans that have purchased FC Dallas tickets this season. Tickets for the general public go on sale on Monday, July 3 at 10:00 a.m. CT through ticketmaster outlets or by calling 888-FCD-GOAL. NOTE: The FC Dallas versus Colorado game was originally scheduled for August 5 and was changed to July 29 to accommodate the MLS All-Star Game, which will be played on August 5.
