Could have gone to Pienaar or Baines, but I gave it to Fallaini. He broke up their play so well, was always there or tehre abouts, never stopped running. Some great challenges and some lovely forward balls. Still sloppy on occasions but his touch was generally superb today.

Listen to yourselves. Yakubu has been magnificent for us for the last 2-3 seasons. Without doubt our best striker. Then he gets injured and comes back and has lost his edge a bit.. and you are saying we should sell him. At the moment we would get fuck all for him He is still relatively young. I am 29. Well done Bill Please name me any shitter players we have had. Good strikers/forwards need to have Strength, Pace, Off the Ball movement, Finishing ability and instinct. He has none of those. NEver in space, never makes runs. Falls over aas soon as a defender comes within 2 feet of him, slow, doesn;t even jog; he just driftys about losing the ball. If you come on for the last 20 minutes then you go hell for leather. Get him out of our beautiful club! Sooner the better.
