Anyone who is trying to justify.... Take yourself off and have a word. Disgusting. We're not Stoke, Millwall or Cardiff.

It's because i am not a moron
Cheers i have felt quite welcome here was just going to come in to see the opinion's before the game.
But i am feeling i my stick around for a bit.
Sure your not just confused and you've finally seen the light mate?

I watched the game at my local in Sabah, Malaysia. Surrounded by Reds I was. At first I thought how fantastic it would have been if I was surround by Blues out here before the big game. Pre-KO (with my Tiger Beer in hand) I was thinking about how EFC could have managed things better oversea's and if we had now played at the Kings Dock, or had any other form of new Stadia, better marketing, more investment, better players etc then would we have been able to produce a more vast fanbase?
I envied the way our rivals had managed to attract this. As the players walked out to Z-Cars I found myself actually congratulating LFC for something!
I pondered, would this bar have been filled with Blue shirts instead if any of the above had of materialised? The Bar contained myself, various Standard Chartered/Carlsberg Logos & You'll never walk alone. But then I realised that the majority that surrounded me didn't actually understand the enormity of this encounter. As I cheered on the Blues and let out 'offt's' as Cahill went close, I received confused looks at why I supported a less 'glamorous team'.
See, the Liverpool 'fans' that surrounded me tonight had never been to England, let alone Liverpool before. They didn't know about the 1989 FA Cup Final, they hadn't heard of Stanley Park, Bill Shankley or Alan Ball. In fact, some of them didn't even know this was a derby (or what a derby was!).
The defeat was gutting, but then I realised that a win for my team would have ment more than a LFC win did to everyone else in the establishment.
So, in essence, it doesn't matter how many shirts we sell or how many fans we can attract in distant lands. It's irrelevant. Whatever happens over the next few seasons, if we sink like the titanic or we go on to prosper I'm proud I was born a Blue.
Today was the same old story, but I wouldn't buy another book.
As the old saying goes...
Evertonians are born, not manufactured.

I've heard Martin Samuel has done an interview with Kenwright and his conclusion is that the fella has lost the plot. Should appear in one of the rags this weekend, whichever one Samuel is writing for now.

I don't understand why we keep loaning him?
-
yeah, ive seen Pogba, he looks a decent player tbh, not sure bout the other one though not seen him
Morrison has been in a lot of shit from what I've heard. Off the pitch problems and a bad attitude. He'll get loaned out to Millwall and we will never hear from him again. Plus, he isn't as good as Barkley.
-
they all seem to think Paul Pogba and Revel Morrison are twice the player of Barkley. Doubt they have seen him play miond
To be fair Paul Pogba looks real good, I'm expecting him to me the huge.

Everton 2-2 Aston Villa

Fuck it just throw Garbutt in. How could Villa possibly prepare for Garbutt and Drenthe down the left? They would have no idea.
Lack of preparation maybe, but if we dont know what were doing, they have no chance of knowing!
Great logic Stevo. Like it!

What are they hoping for. A billionaire to see the protest on itv news and be all sorry for Everton for being responsible and paying the debt they owe. Shock horror i know, the banks want their money back who'd of thought? Apart from unrest this protest will achieve fuck all apart, definitely nothing proactive, maybe a little more annoyance to what Neville would call the 'proper' fans and some litter out side the ground.
Like moaning that yer mate got money from the tooth fairy, jus be happy you've still got yer teeth. Moaning cunts the lot of them. We have no money to spend. How the feck is a protest gonna change it?
Mate, no one actually thinks that a protest is going to directly entice a Billionaire on board, nor will it force the hand of our board. However, these are all components of the bigger picture. This will be reported in the Media and in turn again highlight that we want and need change. The more things like this that happen, I believe that more restless those at the higher ranks will become (snow ball effect).
But the t-shirt is utter dog shit...

im kinda stumped and live in hope of a takeover, the Mcmanus rumour has got me excited again
The what rumour?

He does actually look like a more handsome Carlos Tevez IMO
*Gayest Post Ever*

Neville can deliver a cross into the box from that side.
No mate, Neville finds his man about once every 10 crosses...

He can't even hold the shirt up properly.... All you can see is Chang.

Just had a debate on FB. Basically as much as I respect him, still love him & will miss him, my discrepancies lay with the timing of his move. Asking to leave when he did etc.
But the pull of Arsenal is a big one, even if they did get twated 8-2 at the weekend, CL Football and all.
I want him to flop at Arsenal, not because I dislike him now but because I dislike Arsenal.

from the The Peoples Group FB = "BLUE UNION PUBLIC MEETING, AT THE CASA, ON HOPE STREET. SATURDAY FROM MIDDAY. SEE YOU THERE."
Anyone going?

IN :
Eric Dier - loan confirmed (Nothing Deal for us, makes no difference)
Denis Stracqualursi - loan confirmed (Could he be another Gem? Moyes has a knack of finding unknowns and them turning out to be just what we need, another Cahill type would be nice!)
Royston Drenthe - loan Awaiting confirmation (Good signing, watch his youtube vid. The lad has ability and if he can link up with Baines then Happy days)
OUT:
Arteta - Arsenal (Money is good, but just gone to Banks. Plus, we even if it hasn't we can't use it until Jan)
Yakubu - Blackburn (Not bothered by this)
Beckford - Leicester (Gutted, I strongly believe Becks had a lot to offer Everton still)
Duffy - Scunthorpe - loan confirmed (Irrelevant)
-
-
Gutted.
-
Kevin Davis to Arsenal...

Would be quite happy to see these deals go through to be honest. 4.5m is good money for a player who we got for free 12months ago and simply isn't good enough at this level. I would rather see the Yak go as Moyes isn't going to use him anyway, he would rather play Felli and Cahill up top so we may as well get what we can for him and get him off the wage bill. Even if we bring no-one in we still have Saha, Anichebe, Vellios, Gueye and Baxter who will hopefully get more of a chance if we get rid of some deadwood. I'm not saying that gives us a whole lot of firepower upfront but lets face it, keeping hold of the Yak and Beckford won't change that.
With the upmost respect mate I think that you are wrong on the firepower thing. Losing Beckford and not bringing anyone in who can replace those goals is silly. Pure and Simple. I understand that it is fairly good business due to the profit we have made on the player.
Can someone work out where we would have finished without Beckford's goals last term?

Your Thoughts?
Mine...
Head = Yes. We need numbers and he won't cost us much in wages!
Heart = No. He couldn't do it last time, what makes us think after a spell with Birmingham City he can do it this time?
But I think he will end up at Celtic.
