  1. er, BK's words "we wont sell wayne for anything less than £50m" he was sold for £27m, think haf is refering to off-field assets tbh, hardly say AJ and Beattie were assets tbh

I actually would say they were, aren't all players classed in the 'assets' zone? Hindsight is a wonderful thing isn't it, at the time we brought both those players as assets. Of course we did. Although we made a loss on Beattie (by 2M) I remember us actually making profit on AJ.

  2. That's poor. I wasn't at the Brum game, but a mate of mine said he was sat right behind the 'Peoples Group'. He said not once did any of them make an effort to talk to the other Blue's about what they were doing. No leaflets etc. I'm surprised at that, I mean you can Tweet as much as you like but if you aren't actively seeking out your audience when there's a 1,000 or so around you then there is something fundamentally wrong, Right?

  3. Stayed up till 3:30am my time for that.

However, a win is a win and I shouldn't complain. I can't see us clocking up too many more with all these injuries. Now I think we are safe I'd give the fringe players/kids a run for the rest of the term.

  4. It's hardly surprising when we struggle to get people in the box.

    True.

I see Aj is returning. Big Aj fan me. I loved that guy. His shiny head and that silly 'A' sign when he scored. Blokes a legend + I'll always love him for that day against Liverpool. Brilliant. Make sure he gets a good welcome back lads, I'm told he's brought his son up an Evertonian.

  5. this happened 7 minutes into the match, when he done his knee in with was about 5 minutes into the game - something with his warm up? As Southall said hes more or less out for the season.

I doubt it mate. Just how it goes. Either way it's a big loss for us due to our numbers more than anything else.

  6. Exactly, when I lived down in London I'd constantly get shit about being 'Northern'. When I was out with the boys there would always be comments that went along the lines of 'Northener Basrtard' etc. Personally I can't see the difference? It's just highlighting what part of the country I'm from. Ok, it wasn't directed at me in a malicious way (majority of the time) but still, there was no need for me to get my bollox in a twist.

I'm sure if this would have happened in the 80's (and you'd have gone to the effort of reporting something like this) the Steward/Bizzie would have laughed in your face.

  7. I was about to come on here and tare this thread apart, I thought it was going to be a serious case of someone over hearing racism at Goodison Park, something in which I've experienced in the past and have been disgusted by. However, this is laughable! What is the difference between this and someone calling Wayne Rooney an 'Ugly Bastard'? None at all in my opinion and whoever the Everton fan is that went to the effort of reporting this needs a to have a day off.

There is no room in modern day football for racism of any kind. In fact, there's no room for it anywhere. However, people need to man the fuck up. I'm disgusted at the other guy for reporting him. If you think Saha wasn't pulling his weight after you've paid £35 of your own cash to watch him, you've got the right to let him know he's lazy. Granted, the bloke didn't need to mention his nationality, just like people don't need to mention a players weight or their nose shape when bombarding them with abuse on the pitch. But who cares if he called a Frenchman a Frenchman. I doubt even Louis Saha really would give two shits. He's be more bothered about his attitude & effort being questioned.

    The words gone crazy.

  8. Everton boss David Moyes is a shock target for wealthy German club Hoffenheim.

Moyes tops a shortlist of candidates for the manager’s job at the ambitious Bundesliga outfit, who are looking to recruit in the summer.

Hoffenheim’s owner Dietmar Hopp is among the richest men in Europe and could find it easy to lure Moyes, increasingly disillusioned at the lack of transfer funds on Merseyside

  9. Just read this about Anil Dhirubhai Ambani on Wiki - 'was in talks with Everton officials over a deal to takeover the club. Before this he was also on the brink of buying Newcastle United.[16][17] He is now believed to be keen to re-kindle his interest in Everton as Chairman Bill Kenwright has admitted he will now actively seek to sell his shares due to the collapse of the clubs Destination Kirkby stadium project'.

  10. Well, Not often I feel the need to login and post something but that was just terrible. We really need to make big changes this summer.

I feel we are now at the end of an era. I'm scared, as we all our, at what is in store for us. We are heading straight for a storm this summer lads. Hold tight.,,
