I think he's just mentally and physically exhausted. The pressure he's been playing under, there was that article where he said that the points deduction gets to you. At a certain point, something has to give.

Young has to be hooked for Harrison at half time, even though he's been awful too.

It's not just him, though he's becoming part of the problem. They players and off field catastrohophes just as much to blame still. But the result is that watching this team is pure misery.

He'll be wanting Doucs in there in case he needs to come back in to midfield and muck out to Gomes and Garner can play.

I guess it'll be 4411. WIth Garner and Gomes in the middle it looks like we'll want the ball and play a bit. Which is a bit scary to be honest, given how terrible we are with the ball. We'll all be saying what a great move it was if we win, and what an idiotic decision if we lose.

Another massive let off, thank fuck we shut it out. Dreadful first hour, awful set up and performances. Pickers kept us is in it (his saves just as important as the pen). Credit to Dyche and the subs, and to Dom for having the balls to take the pen.

Bare minimum for McNeil on that break was not to lose the ball cheaply. Failed miserably.

On the strength of the first hour I'd disagree with this, it was appalling. But the 3 subs really wrecked up the game.
