  1. Couldnt find a thread to link on to so here goes... The wording of the ballot seems to be Kirkby or not....http://www.toffeeweb.com/season/07-08/news/070726a.asp I reckon it'll be a no vote basedc on how its been worded. If they'd said eg 'move to this grnd or stay' it could be very different.
  2. Prem - 7th FA - 4th rnd CC - quarters Uefa - Final/winners Based on the hope that we may have learnt some lessons about playing in europe i reckon we should do v. well in uefa this time round.
  3. Blue grass! (not entirely joking either)! Hows about if you were in the sky looking down on the stadium, it would be the shape of the efc crest? The seating etc would stay normal but just the top section of the roof could be shaped???
  4. Re-use the mortar! Was gonna suggest the same as bluenose ie; the 'roundhouse'. It could be used again as a lock-up for the likes of BT and VDM when they play like chumps. Notice LFC's new ground (proposal) is also based on 4 seperate stands!!!
  5. Think they used to call Dickie Wright 'Lloyd' - from dumb & dumber!! And Weir was nicknamed 'Peas' - peas & gravy = davie...how crap was that! (Think Archie Knox was guilty of that one).
  6. Iain Turner (reserve keeper) has recently returned from laser-eye surgery...god help us. Davie Moyes has red hair but we dont care. What about the new Arteta chant anyone? BT='Biffa'. Arteta='Spud'. Cahill='Tiny'.
  7. What's Kelly Holmes doin with EFC?!
  8. So it'll be the 'Knowsley Council Colisseum' in that case??!!
  9. 50,000 with the ability to rise to 60,000 if needed in future. If so much money is to be offered towards the deal from other parties then PLEASE, lets stand out from the crowd and keep the naming rights - think that would appease many fans if it was to be named 'Goodison Park' or my favourite just 'Goodison'.
  10. Alan Irvine........wots he up to these days?
  11. McFad scored a belter think it was season before last possibly v spurs - it was about 35 yards out on the volley! What about dunc away v man utd, turned and shot top left corner. Hate to say it but agree with any1 who said Rooney v arsenal as i had the perfect view of it - in all the way.
  12. Just been on bluekipper and the Braaten link has a youtube link - to me he looks like one classy winger. Positive, tricky, quick. Maybe not a huge amount of goals but his game looks well suited based on this little bit of evidence: Braaten clip
  13. Is it true that a player now has an option to 'buy himself out of their contract'? May not even be a new thing but ive heard about it recently and wonder whether this could be an option. EG if we only offer say 4mill when others have offered 6mill, maybe DN could cushion some of that difference which would obviously benefit preston??? Not saying he has stashes of cash (compared to most playres) but if done over time, could this be a feasible option?
  14. OK we didnt buy him, he was a youth product (i think).....tony grant!
  15. The only thing in our favour that could tempt heinze is that he's v good mates with Arteta - read it a while ago either in a programme or evertonian. But honestly cant see it. Hope Koumas isnt true.
  16. Bakayoko - how much was he? Nyarko - pratt! Brett Angel - 1 goal in 15 (and it was crap, I was there) Dicky Wright - unlucky with injuries, but ultimately...sh1te!
  17. 1. DM still in charge 2. New stadium on/near existing Goodison area but just called 'Goodison'. 3. Vaughan & possibly anichebe on long-term deals and regular internationals. Same may also go for others eg Baxter (???) 4. No debt! 5. A decent sponsor - a global brand not some pissy beer company. 6. Regarded once again as a big club by others. 7. Regular european games either uefa or cl! 8. At least 2 trophies between now and then. :thumbsup_anim:
  18. This may help - (towards the end): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HtSkNeuAbT8
  19. Congrats to Ossie and ....... mcfudge! Who saw that one coming?! See bottom part of article. http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/andy...-exclusive.html
  20. 1st for me cos i've seen him play and he used to get me & my dad of our seats - Kanchelskis Saw him a few times and his career was ended too soon - mark higgins Solid but fair (sometimes anyway) - pat van den hauwe No need to explain - dixie Could do with a left winger - sheeds
  21. Hate myself for saying this but why would he say EFC?
  22. VFM cos of injuries or form? If anyone could prove his injuries weren't genuine then i'd agree. Yes there were plenty of them but who can say for definite that they weren't genuine? Also, a plyr like dunc will have good/bad days and not always fit in to the game but if nothing else he was one awkward bastard who never let defences relax and that allowed other playrs to shine (which they rarely did).
  23. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AK4MDjxgLOM - the good! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ASF37ORQGXA - the bad!
  24. Sponge aint replied so hope i can but-in!! I was/always will be a fan (i hold my hands up to that as if its a confession)! Towards the end i admit i felt we held on too long when we were literally crying out for pace and trickery. My case in favour of DF is this:........... For best part of 10 years who else took a game to the likes of manu, lpool, arse etc. If nowt else he helped us take some points & pride from the bigger teams. Also, got a great elbow/left hook on him! Get him back, just dont give him too much responsibility!
