Really dont see him going anywhere and id rather he stayed too. There's a few cup games and uefa comin up and he'll be important for some of them games. He's one of the few plyrs we have who can change a game with a moment of magic.

Plus you'd expect AJ to notch up a few and Pienaar looks like he could help out - lookin good.

Unfortunately, 'his day' is rarely a saturday or a sunday! Think he suffers from a lack of confidence more than most players, you can see him sh*t his pants everytime he's on the ball, hence the aimless passes. Hoyte has impressed me on the few occasions i've watched him. Not sure where people are getting £2m from though-reckon WengerBoy will hold out for more like double that (and probably get it).

Difficult without seeing Lucho in the prem but Manny seemed to cope alright in the few games he played and he didnt really have time to adapt so Manny for me: *cheaper (reckon 10mill would get him, Lucho 13.5mill I heard) *younger *Something tells me an Argentian could be trouble (a blanket statement I know but just a gut feeling) wheras Manny seemed to fit in ok with the group. *If you're good enuf, I think it's just about acceptable to have quiet moments in a game like Manny was known for although i'm sure that wouldnt last too long under DM. *Would expect he'd have lower wage demands. Something tells me we're working on (and have been for a while) on a loan for MF with a figure agreed to buy after a year (ala Yobo). I'd be absolutely optimistic for some kind of success if we could get him plus a quality striker - another loan would even be ok.

Just read on Toffeeweb that 'according to grenada news, Cahill has suffered a recurrence of the metatarsel fracture'. There was no link (no grenada news website i guess) and i don't believe all i read but it sounds ominous to me.

If Moyesey wants Baines i reckon he'll be ours within 2 or 3 days especially if he hears about manu's interest. Cant see Carsley being offered though as he would only be valued at about 500k (absolute guess) so would barely make a dent on baines' value - but if thats who wigan fancy then who knows. C'mon moysey, keep us happy!

Without doubt. The appeal of the kings dock was immense (for me and anyone i spoke to). Shame it's gone but just cant see it being resurrected anyway (someone suggested it could still be done???) Think the bottom line to all of this debate is simple (pls say if i'm off the mark)... We all appreciate the importanc of someone like Tesco and agree that without them, any move would cripple us. The kinds dock was the dream that never was and possibly was never gonna be. The new designs are fairly good with some nice touches and does have some wow factor but possibly not enough. We want to remain as close to the everton area as possible and kirkby doesnt allow that. We agree Goodison cant be refurbed or rebuilt. ...If i'm right i can only see it being a 'No' vote.
