  1. Give BT a chance and a run in the team before you start slating him please, if he doesnt do it when given a run then fair enough.

I really wanted BT to work out, still do but can't see it happnin. I always try to give playrs time and have faith in them (ie Mcfadden & VDM who at least I see potential in), but BT just doens't get me off my seat like forwards should. Just reckon it could be best for him and EFC to let go now before it drags on further. There aren't even signs of him linking well with AJ.

If it ain't broke don't fix it.......it's broke!

  2. Odd as it may seem after AJ's inujry im thinkin BTs time may be up even sooner. Hopeflly AJ won't be out too long but id guess he'll miss a few and is BT really gonna take his place successfully? I know we need numbers but we also need a 2nd striker who is better than him.

I'd take 3mill if it were offered and bid for Camara (Wigan), Lita or Ashton.

Anyone agree or do you all think i'm as pissed as I am!

  3. January:

Wright (got better cover than him)

Beattie (wanted it to work out but no sign of improvement, sell now or lose even more money on him - but only if we bring in a decent forward in January.

    Summer:

    Stubbs (old, tired)

    Weir (old, knackered)

    Davies (inconsistent at best)

Carsley (got Pip doin same job better)

Pistone or Naysmith (not good enough).

  4. Bizarre is all I can add to this, he's been out the game for long enough that it would take him 6 months to get any kind of fitness back and he was struggling when he retired anyway.

It's no ta for me. Nowt to do with ex-man utd or anything like that (i'd happily take Giggs, Saha, Vidic!), he's just gone too far down the road of not playing.

  5. i reckon the politics behind a shared stadium would just make the whole preocess a ballache and drag on forever:

Colours, stadium sponsers, corporate hospitality, stadium name. If and only if it could be done prperly would I be up 4 it. To be honest i think it's a non-starter.

I was GUTTED that the king's dock failed and now anything else just seems 'not bad'!

  6. Had a quick check in case anyone else had written on this topic-couldn't see owt so here goes...

Heard that AVDM missed the Chelsea game cos he got burgled again! He even moved house since the first time, the guy is cursed!

(like I say, sorry if it's been written about before).

Anyone know if this is true?

  7. So why wouldn't tesco/leahy be interested in the King's Dock? It was a prime location, would figure on the famous waterfront skyline, would remain within the city, half decent travel infrastucture, space for car parking etc. And the design was out of this world. Surely they could fit a little tesco express next-door?! Serioulsy tho, why not re-investigate that location with tesco/planet h'wood etc-you'd think those companies would much prefer a location like that. There's even the albert dock to compliment it.

If it was ever the number 1 choice, it should remain that way until 100% exhausted whcih I doubt it is, rather than plump for just anywhere as this kirkby site appears to be.

  8. Is there any way and/or any hope that the naming of a new stadium (if it happens) could be put to the vote?

OK, it's slightly unheard of but it would be a unique thing to say that it was named by the supporters. My suggestion and i've said this before is simply 'Goodison'. We'd be keeping the tradition going but I reckon it's more modern too. On the other hand there's the worry that it could become a corporate-branded name which nobody wants.

    Who thinks what?

  9. Hate to say this but why support EFC if you've got such an issue with our unbeaten record?

I wouldn't swap anything in the world for DM, I think we have about 6 top class plyrs and one day we'll be in a new ground. It's all lookin good and I just don't understand the post. Like the 1st reposnse said (can't recall who off), what is your solution? ie, no point just criticising.

To win at spurs is one thing, plus they've bought some quality plys, plus we were down to 10 men when both goals went in. I think that was one of the results of the season and AJ's goal was a cracker and it sounds like we actually plys some good stuff. From being on a high I now wish I hadn't logged on!
