    Moyes is more than aware what damage a late transfer away from Goodison can do to us, so once again, I stand by my earlier statements that Fellaini will go late in the window, too late to bring in anyone else, once again, it looked like we may be in for someone, but surprise, surprise, it does not happen! ' we really did try to bring someone in, honestly but it was too late!' Smoke and bloody mirrors again! What a crock of shit!

    Much as it pains me, I still stick by what I said last week, deal to be done at last moment, no time to get anyone in, the usual anguished cries from the club about really trying hard but it was too late, and the money disappearing into the 'Goodison triangle' come January! I sincerely hope I am wrong, but the nearer it gets the more concerned I become. :(

    I think 38 mil is getting there. With clever work on the transfer market that could get us 4-5 players that improve the starting 11/squad.

    Sad to see both go but sometimes you have to do whats best for the club and the club is bigger than Fellaini and Baines.

     

    Would prefer to just sell Felli at around 28 mil though

    I agree that nobody is bigger than the club, sad to see them go, but we would eventually move on, and yes, clever work would get us 4-5 players, but can you see that happening in 5 days? I dont think so. Once again, a la Arteta, we would be left high and dry with a late move, and crys of anguish from the board about not having time to get anyone, and you can guarentee, come January window, the funds will have been swallowed up elsewhere!

    While accepting that many Managers go back to their previous clubs for players(Martinez for one), they have not usually just spent 11 years building solid foundations, professing to love the club, then come back and attempt to undermine all the previous work. I also suspect, as stated in some reports, that it was done to try to unsettle the players. Moyes in my eyes, is a graceless Twat, and I sincerly hope that this is put over to him when he returns to Goodison with his new love.

    Complete piss take. Don't think it's entirely down to Moyes but surely he is complicit with this? Personally if I was in his position I would be screaming at Woodward for taking the piss out of a great club who looked after me.

     

    The fact that this bid has come through tells you all you need to know about the arrogant sod. He couldn't care less about us.

    I did not see the game, however, we were losing, needed a goal so take off a Striker and put on a Naismith?? Can understand Ossie going off, he has been poor of late, but does Naismith have something over Moyes???? He seems to be Moyes answer to everything, when in doubt, put on Naismith!!
