I feel nervous when he buys unknown quantities from abroad though like Billy and the one that stands out for me is that Per Kroldrup. I should say I feel nervous when he spends abit of money on these players I am all for taking gambles for a few million e.g Arteta, Pienaar but it doesnt fill me with confidence when we buy players from leagues that are miles behind the premier league. Does anybody at the time we signed Billy remember when we were linked with the other Russian that looked really good, cant remember his name but Billy's name came out of the blue as we had been linked with the other russian all summer and he played in the same position.....Ahh someone help me out its annoying me now.

The Everton fan is actually a woman, the Tranmere fan is a lad in my 6th form. It's the woman who's in contact with all the agents so most of what she gets is reliable.

You don't lose pace, plenty of big players who can shift, but yeah i can see what your saying though, the big question is though, does he defend enough? otherwise we will never see that pace and trickery because Moyes will drain it out of him in no time.

To be fair to the lad, from what I saw of him yesterday, he seemed to track back and help out his full back quite a lot. In terms of his size, I don;t think that would be the issue - there are plenty of big, powerful defenders in the Championship. For me the worry would be him stepping up and playing against more intelligent defenders. Risk worth taking at the right price I think..

I believe Moyes was at Blackburn v Norwich the other day. We don't have either of those teams in our run in. Commentator on 5Live was suggesting that he could think of a Norwich player we might be interested in but I wouldn't be surprised if he was watching Hoilett.

Let's be honest though, it's not even worth hoping that we're not going to go there and park the bus. United closing in on a title and us off the back of a crushing semi-final defeat only means one thing. 0-1 United.

It's difficult. I saw in an article before the following phrase which, for me, sums it up perfectly: 'We won't win anything with Moyes but we won't survive without him.'

It would be a hard job for whoever came in after him. I'd imagine plenty of players would be keen to move on after Moyes' 'legacy', if you can put it that way..
