x2!Love this post.

Eto'o. Class!
-
Almost pissed myself when I read that Pad! QualityWell said mate, ignore John he's a bit of a nob. We gave him a fake address in Brussels for EUFA and he was last seen wandering round asking some Belgium people if they have a mass transit rail system and getting a bit shirty cos none of them have ever heard of EUFA.
-
I've backed him from day one but have all but given up on him now. Strikes me as a confidence player who needs an arm round him & to be told how fuckin amazing he is. Would have thought he & Bobby were a perfect fit but he never looks like he can be arsed.
-
Agreed. He seemed to lose his way a bit after a big move at a young age but is definitly back up there now. As a long term replacement for Jags I'd be made up.Lille's centre back Simon Kjaer is a a colossus. Would love him here.

They are shit & can't score to save their lives. Add to that the fact that we are defending much better & really we should bury them. (One nil loss it is then )

Was going to go 2 - 0 to us but it seems everyone else has so...................Burnley 0 - 4 Everton Coleman
-
The media do the same thing whenever one of our players impresses without fail. Barkley, Stones, Coleman, McCarthy, Baines, Rodwell, Rooney, the list is endless. "Well they're too good to be playing for little old Everton, who can we flog them off to?" Its not exactly been a secret we haven't had a pot to piss in for years either so we've been a soft target for lazy journo's. Historically we've had one, maybe two stand out players though & now we've pretty much got a team full. Why would Ross want to go anywhere else?

Agreed. Luckily I don't see Naisy being the kind of person to let it put his nose out of joint.https://www.clubcall.com/everton/no-new-striker-talks-planned-1744650.html
Doesn't really tally with what he's done for other players, and himself!

Everton 1-0 Villa Eto'o
-
Well thought out analysis.
-
If he doesn't improve rapidly then we should send him back in January. We need more from him, big time!
-
-
On a free I'd be happy but don't think he's as good as some of you's seem to.
-
Got a good feeling about this (for the first time in weeks!) The way things ended at Anfield will have galvanised the boys & I reckon the scenes set for our little Costa Rican magician to repeat last years heroics.
-
Cheers for the geography lesson, anyways....I'd like us to line up a bit like....T-How, Garbutt, Milkman, Birdman, Browning, McCarthy, Bes, Ossie, McGeady, Eto'o, Rom. They may be dangerous (I'll take someone who knows more about them than I do's word for it) but losing/drawing away in Russia is not going to dent confidence too much.
-
Bobby needs to pull some Catalan strings I reckon & get Gerry or some other Spanish whizz kid in.
-
Fuckin hell steady on!He reminds me of the young Matthaeus.
-
Manure 2 - 2 Everton Rom
-
Loved the way he celebrated his goal. Didn't go mad but looked like a weight had been lifted. Bobby's reaction was priceless!
-
If Bobby says it looks really bad I'm worried. As you say he usually plays it down. Kevs one player we can't do without for a stretch.Martinez said it 'looks really bad'. He usually underplays them so I'd go with him being out til around February myself.
-
Agreed. Impressive cameo yesterday. He should play in krasnador
-
This. Not a sniff of a card either which a lot were concerned about; looks a real steal, should be a regular starter now. Exciting player.
-
Jonny Bones! Absolute class! Bainesy & Mo get a nod & Jags gave me a memory that will never fade!
