Comfortable 3-0....all in the first half (these late wins are bad for my heart). Osman, Jelly & Gibson.

I feel were going to get a clean sheet in this game too. Like you said its been loooong overdue!

I can see Jelly getting more than one this game I dont know why. I dont want to sound stupid but my guts saying hes going to bang in 3 today! My brain says two tho.

I hope moyes dosnt put out a shite squad, we should really be going for this match with guns blazing. I saw someone mention dropping Jelly and putting Anichebe in there instead. To be honest mate if it was any other game I would, but Jelly needs a game like this to put one or two passed the keeper and build his confidence.

I dont necesarily know how much better at the back we will be. As a team we were much more compact then, and while I think he is better than Distin (and Heitinga on current form), our defensive problems wont suddenly disappear by bringing in another CB.

Heitinga's current from is just shite isnt it?

Id love to see lescott back, though him and jags really gelled together in those CB spots. As for Distin, he is my favorite defender in the league to watch, the guy really impresses me, He has so much physical capability and he can read the game so, so well.

If pienaar didnt score and assist a goal it would have gone to Ossie. Nothing between them today,both played fantastic.

Its innevitable, and correct. Would be nice to have someone behind Jelavic that can hold the ball up to give the others time to get forward. Anichebe is not that person. Felli would havebeen able to do that.

 

We need to get Heitinga off the pitch. Replace him with Barkley or Naismith.

 

Move neville into the right back position, jags in the middle with Distin.

 

Gibson and osman in the middle and Barkley or Naismith behind Jelavic. Stick Ani on the right.

That sounds like a disaster. Fair enough get the defence sorted like you said, but putting naismith on will do fuck all. Hes not an impact sub all he will do is make some piss poor passes and not even attempt to take the ball past anyone. As for sticking anichebe on the right that sounds aweful too. what does he have to offer on the wing? Bring oviedo on the left and move pienaar onto the right. His link up with baines this game has been nonexistent this match anyway.

what is david moyes thinking putting this side out? We've got the mentality to do really well this season and this pessimistic line up is diabolical.

Can someone explain to jags that crossing requires a different technique to his hoofing.

Leave Pienaar on the left, play naismith behind jelly and put ossie on the right. Agreed, ossie is shite on the right flank, but lets face it, im better than naismith on the wing and i have no legs.

Thats how little i want Osman on the right. It was just to make a point. Ergo best option right now (according to me and my opinion) is to play Pienaar on the right.

I know its a bit of a kick in the balls for the team. Without a doubt the lad deserves it. However, I feel that Fellaini has prevented play going through to Jelavic this season which is why he has been off form lately. Hopefully, it will help enable Jelly to rediscover his form for the Toffees, so although it is a big loss, by no means is it a major crisis.
