4-4-2 is 'very' defensive. Why fans want us to play this way is a mystery.
4-5-1 is very defensive when you play Neville and Heitinga in CM!

I'd like to see Howard - Hibbo - Jags - Distin - Baines - Rodwell - Drenthe (L )- Donovan (R ) - Osman - Straq - Anichebe.
4-4-2 probably wont happen so if one striker starts then I hope its Anichebe, if he gets a good run of goals it might work wonders for his confidence (the confidence that he seems to lack, apparently) and he maybe able to fill his potential. Every now and then I see it and think he's going to be a half decent striker, I see why Moyes likes him so much, but this has to be his last season to prove to us what he is worth.

The old saying goes "Form is temporary, class is permanent". Im sure Cahill will bounce back soon. I know he's getting on but i think he has another season or two left in him, I hope he does anyway. No matter what, he will always be my second favorite Everton player of all time (second to big dunc).

Another youngster, while I agree with getting young players and developing them, we need to balance this with adding players with some experience who can deliver for us now not in 3 or 4 years.
Here, here. I think if we bought Drenthe (providing Real Madrid dont want a hefty asking price) and a poacher we would be set for the rest of the season. We could just let the youth develop. I say this because the likes of Barkley, Vellios and Gueye excite me a lot!

I'd actually say either with johnny is our best cb pairing - I think as a pair jags/Distin make the most mistakes.
I hate Hietinga I think hes the most over rated player in the everton squad, he's always making costly mistakes when hes playing in CB and hes useless in CM.

and then we lose 2-1 to bolton. Its not the players, its not the manager its the flair, creativity, moral, determination. I could go on, but were lacking the mental side to football.
