i think our performance was solid we got some real good chances and the crosses were very impressive, at one point i could not imagine this as an Everton loss (draw maybe, looked that was for a while). we were really quiet up front but i believe we can not expect miricales playing a lone striker, i can see the sense of playing a lone striker at a place like st jamess park but i am upset about the score!! what do u lads reckon about the: game result performance and the display of the new keeper (i think he played ok)

have we signed Westerveld? when this happen today? i suppose he will go straight into the squad becase he has some experience, will be very hostile at st james park, but i agree the young lad has earned a chance

arse did play well last nite good performance, good game to watch too, but i think spurs will hold on they have a big squad to cope with an injury or 2.

alrite lads, just been thinking to myself as you do, and i was thinking what i would do against newcastle at the back, with weir and stubbs doing well together (not giving goals away) will joey be given his place straight back, i believe hibbo is suspended for the game am i right? if so will yobo play there for now. i think yobo will end up at the centre again because do weir and stubbs have the legs for the rest of the season. he has scored only 8 in the championship, is that good enough? can he make the step up successfully? he is very young isnt he, anyone know how old to be exact? to me he sounds like another bent, will work hard, start off well but we will have to wait and see to see what happens in the summer, with moyes at the game it means nothing to me we have heard of him at many games to seee many players over the past year, as it has been said i wont get excited untill we see the player in a blue shirt.

i agree with the whole give him a chance thing, however the few chances he has been given this season he has been very poor and at this moment in time we cant play a "risk" at the back

prob getting some match fitness he has had a run in the rezzies i remember not so long ago, a few games for china wont be to bad for the lad

his attitude would be easy to ignore if he is nettin the goals however if he does have a big prob, which past reports says he does, it could cause problems especially when we dont need them at the mo, but i would not mind him in a blue shirt, a loan deal would be better see how he fits in
