MikeO
NSNO (among others) is saying... Marca, the Spanish sports paper, is reporting that Mehmet Aurelio has flown to Merseyside in order to sign for Everton. The 30 year old defensive midfielder is apparently out of contract with Fenerbahce and ready to move to the Premier League after the Blues offered more money that Spanish Real Betis. Romey 1878
Betis have apparently upped their offer and he's still going there as planned now.
Det
Betis give up their interest cause of the high value according to Marca. Already Fenerbahce never leave him. He will play for us next year.
jamiemaher85
Think this guy would be a decent signing. Does anyone know the figures been mentioned though? Would be nice to have someone younger but at the moment beggers can't be choosers, we really need a decent defensive midfielder, i don't think I will relax until we buy one either. Viennatoffee
looked realy good in euros.. id want Colim Kazim Richards(if thats how you spell it ) he was prob one of turky's best players There have been several good and amazing turkish players at EURO 08. Arda, Kazim, Tuncay, Sentürk and Aurelio are just a few of them... Hm, there are much better players on this position than Aurelio, he wouldn´t been my first option! Everton_Worshiper
looked realy good in euros.. id want Colim Kazim Richards(if thats how you spell it ) he was prob one of turky's best players Tell me the Kazim Richards thing is a joke....he "looked" good in the turkish team, which is not difficult. He would not be good in Premiership (as some former managers of his have come out and said).
gwladys
Looks like his first choice Betis have come up with the money so we won't be getting him. We just don't seem like attractive option at the moment.
Romey 1878
http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/0400eve...-name_page.html Are we interested in anyone?
gwladys
I can't help but get a little frustrated with and worried about the whole situation. I know there's still plenty of time but it just gets to me that we have to wait until 23:45 on the final day of the transfer deadline. Viennatoffee
Maybe it´s better singing on this way to invest much time to think about your signings and don´t just buy useless players just because they played good in their national team! Of course it looks like we arent the first option to join at this days, but I´m sure we will get the players we want and which can play attractive Premier League football, but it´s better to think much about the players you will buy for that money!
