MikeO
"It was a difficult decision to leave Tottenham in the first place," says Robbie Keane. Hmm. Really?

Jimmy the blue
After what he said on leaving Spurs I'm not that sure I'd want him back, 'life long Red my arse'
Scottish Red
Byebye Keane. He was treated badly but it was never really what Rafa wanted (he'd wanted barry). Oh well. We need another striker...badly.
CanadaToffee
Byebye Keane. He was treated badly but it was never really what Rafa wanted (he'd wanted barry). Oh well. We need another striker...badly. Why? So he can play as a fullback? Would have said "as a wide player", but the Dutch strikers have that option covered. Scottish Red
We've got Daniel N'Gog of course. Duh! Who needs Fernando Torres?
Bill
Someone on the BBC txtin said that it must be £10mil or under they have paid as its undisclosed anything over has to be declared to the stock exchange? SSN reported it as a cash only deal of 12 million, so an 8 million loss in 6 months is another bad deal by benitez, is this why the yanks where looking for another manager last season, and why they want out now. ?? Guest efctaxi
Did Liverpool actually pay the fee to Spurs in full though ? If there was still some outstanding part of the contract , then it won't really be revealled will it .
