Guest efctaxi
As far as I'm aware , Pienaar only signed a 3 year deal when he came here . Surely one of our summer priorities must be to secure him long term , before the offers come in .
MikeO
His first year was just a loan deal so his three years doesn't run out until summer 2011. Point taken though, if his form continues the way it's been going he needs tying up long before next summer . Sure he will be.
Finn balor
Deffo. Its a must,we need to reward our players who peform well and i include Baines in this. Im sure Saha isnt far off our top earner and the lads need parity. You just have to look at Arsenal. Wenger is looked on as a magician in the market but he spent £12.7 mill on Nasri and Moyes got a similar but better player for £2.
StevO
no, give him another year yet. remember, its world cup year (im sure hes a dead cert for SA) so let them play for it. age old argument, but he gets paid enough, and he was happy with it for three years, so no need to increase it just yet. if we increase his contract now, and he has a bad season, will he go back down in money again?
