zequist
I think someone didn't double-check that summary list you're quoting when they put it together. I clicked over to the 2001-02 list on that site, and it has us in 10th that year with an average of 34,004. Which makes more sense, because if you look at the list of teams in the league that year, the majority of them didn't even have stadiums that could hold 38,000, so if we'd had that many there's no way we could've been 15th. MikeO
Personally it's financial. Got less disposable income and the increased price of petrol was a major factor in only coming up once this season (plus Saturday). Even made a conscious decision to drive more slowly on Saturday to minimise the cost, kept to 70/75 instead of flooring it which was difficult but effective, significant saving on the 500 mile round trip . thebluenose
definatly due to the economic conditions. especially this year where everyone had to tighten thier belts alot more (not to mention our terrible start alot of people decided not to bother)
Ian C
Did we play more or less games than last year?
Blue 250
I only made one game this season instead of an average of about six for the previous 5 years. Hoping for an above average next year......just depends on job, and what the kids need Family first, then Everton.......(Family doesn't include red members or members of the wifes family.. ..... )......written in the knowledge that my wife isn't in the same room
