davies Posted November 1, 2009 Report Share Posted November 1, 2009 Everton boss David Moyes is keeping tabs on Benfica starlet Javi Garcia with a view to making a January swoop. The 22-year-old caught the eye of Moyes as Benfica hammered Everton 5-0 in the Europa League and he will get another chance to shine when the two sides again go head-to-head on Thursday. The midfielder has been a revelation after joining Benfica from Real Madrid in a deal worth £7million last summer and reports claim it would now take double that to prize him away.
