Sgt Pepper
I guess he had it coming with only 2 wins this season.
Lowensda
Coinsidence that he got brought in as technical director and Hart got sacked. think Chelsea, Grant was director of football before Morinho got sacked...and guess what Grant then became manager! Now as i thought, Grant is the new Pompey manager. Food for thought!
Romey 1878
I doubt Grant will do much good for them tbh. He's got a mish mash of players, most of them being Championship standard players and he's not used to working with that stadnard of player, at least Hart was. iggy
Despite (Or because of) the merry-go-round of owners at Fratton Park, things are looking a tad bleak on the financial side at Pompey..... http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2009/dec/04/portsmouth-pay-players-wages Could they be the first of the premier league teams to go belly up? Or is this just the tip of an iceberg for all the clubs without billionaire backing? Edited December 5, 2009 by iggy
MikeO
Could they be the first of the premier league teams to go belly up? Or is this just the tip of an iceberg for all the clubs without billionaire backing? But surely they're living every Evertonians dream aren't they? Held up as an example by the Kenwright haters, "If Portsmouth can get taken over why can't we ? Kenwright out!" Bought out by mega wealthy Arabs not once but twice (Sulaiman Al-Fahim & Ali al-Faraj). Ah if only we'd been so lucky.....it could have been us.
