Louis Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 A CAF (African equivalent to UEFA) officer recently said that Yobo shouldn't go to the World Cup with Nigeria and that it was even a waste of time inviting him to train with the Nigeria squad. http://www.news.dail...ports&Itemid=28 Bit harsh imo. MikeO Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 Just plain stupid. Obviously (He commended the Swede for the inclusion of some new players, especially those plying their trade in the Nigerian Globacom Premier League) has his own agenda. Quote
shetland Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 Surely the CAF is just the equivalent of UEFA and I can't even imagine the useless Platini coming out and saying something like this. As has already been said I think there's ulterior motives involved. Still shouldn't be criticising by name players of a member country though and what't it got to do with the 'Media Officer' anyway?
