StevO Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 Paul Robinson has been selected by England for Wednesdays friendly against Hungary. He has now retired from international football, big fuck you to Capello! I've never been a big fan of Robinson, but last season in my opinion he was the in form England keeper playing for a poor Blackburn side, add to that the keepers that got picked and played in the World Cup i dont blame him http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/8895425.stm Quote
Madmatt Posted August 8, 2010 Report Posted August 8, 2010 i think fair play to him. i have always liked robbo as a person, and always rated him as a keeper. cappello stuck two fingers up to him 8 weeks ago, robbo has done it back to him now! Quote
Romey 1878 Posted August 9, 2010 Report Posted August 9, 2010 Wes Brown has retired now as well. I can't understand why he was even in the squad to begin with! Quote
jamiemaher85 Posted August 9, 2010 Report Posted August 9, 2010 Fuck him. He was rightfully dropped from the england set-up and for me has always carried an attitude with him. In interview there is always a "big I am" quality about him. Not good enough for international football, Joe Hart should be number one anyway, Robinson retiring really doesn't matter. Quote
