marcopaulo
Australia expects Tim Cahill will recover from a thigh injury in time for Saturday's Asian Cup quarterfinal against Iraq. The Everton player was hurt in a challenge near the end of Australia's 1-0 group win over Bahrain, and did not train on Wednesday. However, a spokesman for the team said Cahill had made a "quick recovery" and is expected be fit to face defending champion Iraq. Wide players Luke Wilkshire and David Carney sat out the Bahrain match but the spokesman said they took part in light training on Wednesday and should return to the squad for the game against Iraq. http://www.google.com/hostednews/canadianpress/article/ALeqM5jLaiM4ohaRAT42-KQzE3rX6nqlRg?docId=5703969
