Today is the anniversary of the passing of William Ralph 'Dixie' Dean, who died whilst attending the Goodison derby on this day in 1980. I have been posting details of Dixie on my twitter @briandurand56, to my almost exclusively LFC followers (>2000) I should like to offer my tribute to the memory of Everton FC's greatest legend on this sad anniversary.
